BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - time for our bravest bloonarius challenge yet - the elite version barely gives you any leeway with its insane HP amounts in every tier, so what if you took farms out of the mix? All other income sources with village, boats, and snipers is fair game - is it possible to afford everything you need using only this to beat bloonarius? Find out here.

As someone who never uses farms outside of Boss Events and extreme late game, I'm glad this is possible. I'm gonna try this for the next Boss event. Maybe even make it my go-to strat for the coming weeks.

As someone who played btd5 i start farming from r20 so.....
I always try to farm, and surprisingly, I farm the hardest on easy mode to see what tier 5 I can get for the Moab
I've made a habit of going to 100 on all daily challenges possible. The amount of times that my only farming method consisted of snipers, tier3 villages, boats, and even pirate lord, is much higher than the number of farms-allowed challenges.

I dont know if this is addressed already but i noticed when you have different skins for moabs, the ones summoned by bloonarius arent reskinned. Only the insides of the ones you pop. So when you pop a bfb the bfb wasnt a different skin but the moab will be.
Yeah cause the Bloons spawned by Bloonarious have their own skin with that green "Goo" on them, but it looks like it doesn't extend to children bloons similar to glue gunner mechanics
Interesting. If it is because of the goo they should probably layer the goo over the skin.

Recently tried the one tower hard difficulty achievement, decided normal hard and made myself only use boat. Imagine my surprise when merchantman takes me all the way to round 40...
I now have a newfound respect for merchantman, especially since it suffers from being the "other" path (the one that is less popular).
Merchantmen EXCELL on watery maps, especially Skates and spice islands. I highly recommend it there, they can take you to pretty high freeplay rounds!
No joke, three farms into merchantmen is one of the best economy strats I can come up with. You don't even have to worry about early game camo. The trade empire is one of the cheapest big money makers, and a maxed out merchant confederation produces around 20K or so per round.
funny thing is that you had more defense than the first time i beat bloonarius elite WITH farms i just also had a support temple with the other buffing towers

Does anybody here farm out tier 5 instas from the events? If so how do you like to do it?
Edit: I should probably specify I'm not particularly interested in optimal strategies or whatever. Just curious how people are doing this!
Normally the expert maps on chimps or impoppable are the easiest. Once you find a good strat it's basically rinse and repeat. My favorite are dark castle chimps(druid spam with obin) and infernal chimps(Apache Prime w/Prince of Darkness, Quincy and Crossbow Master), you could also take a break by playing some of the easier maps. Hope this helped, happy grinding :)
In the past I've done easy mode on expert maps. Easy enough to set up something early then idle to completion (ben, nevamiss, subs, destroyer, spikes). Chimps/impoppable can be better, but requires more thinking and taking care of it, and more penalty for messing up.

Well xQc isnt good at the game. He is a casual player not the kind of person who vomits on you for not going meta towers
Meanwhile, a Smash Bros. tool-assisted speedrunner managed to get an infinite amount of money on Round 39 with a regrow farm. (It was with regular Bloonarius rather than Elite Bloonarius, but I'm pretty sure that it makes no difference until he shows up on Round 40.)

@@quelqunx7470 druid, sniper, or bank abilities benifit from stalling, might have to do some sell + rebuy nans to go infinite

@@AgentLando isab spammed druids for normal mode on cubism. other people beat it with only 6 druids and support like 0-4-0 engineer

I actually just beat the regular Bloonarius today. All I can say is the new Christmas map must be torturous to fight elite Bloonarius on.
a 20% reduction in cooldowns is actually a 25% increase in money :D because 4/5th of an ability time means 5/4ths the normal ability uptime. energizer + druid farming is so OP

that ability mashing finger torture made me think of a thing that was much better in BTD5, which is that in that you could just hold the button and it would run the abilities one per frame.

I beat teh bloonarius elite using NO towers!!! It's called going outside... Good video, no point in saying keep it up because you already did that in that past year.
I have a interresting challenge. Beat Bloonarius (any, but Elite recommended) but you need to hide the HP Bar.
He can just see around how much hp it has by skull spawns

I don't know why, But ISAB's voice is so calm and soothing, like you can fall asleep with the lad in like 5 mins or less.

Magic is the worst damaging sac in tier 4 and true sun god but not if vengeful
did you test sun temple or sun god? Because i just tested temple with pri mag sup vs pri mil sup in in the loop map, fortified BAD round 120 and best case scenario magic kills middle of loop 2 and worst case it kills between loop 2 and 3. Mil on the other hand wasnt able to kill the bad at all

@@theblitz1687 pretty sure your testing was scuffed then, magic gets the arcane blast for 35 dmg every 2 seconds. It also gets savatars. Mil gives gold spectres and Moab missiles.
Check the popology, maybe I made a mistake interpreting
Alright I did arcane blast is 6 projectiles, however gold spectres out damage savatars due to infinite range, and Moab missiles are roughly on par with arcane blast dmg, and Moab missiles have infinite range
@@lamptowel science cant answer why you didnt go ahead and test it yourself and how you didnt read about magic spawning sun avatars which are 4 times more powerful than a normal one. I hope we advance one day.

I've hoped for a long time they would add tech to tech bot allowing to target an ability over a tower. So tech bot presses 12345etc. For you

The amount of snipers on the screen reminds me of an old btd5 high round video on park path with a single temple

I beat tier 3 and 4 without a temple only because I was so inefficient with my farming, instead I focused on the other forms of single target dps (such as my favourite, dart monkey spam, which is good for both single and group :D)

One thing that might have helped was a Spirit of the Forest. They6 generate 1000$ every round, or 1150$ if in range of a monkey city

Real question tho is; when are they gonna do a remake of BMC? That game was so fire, if they do a BMC for btd6 and just overhaul how the actual gameplay works (add much more variables when it came to tile capturing, not just doing sun god village every. single. map.) I think it would be very fun.

I actually tried to beat Bloonarius (Normal) without farms. I failed at stage 3 because I forgot to get a 0-2-4 Sniper monkey
For the temple sac, does the total price have to be 50k or the tier 5 upgrade have to cost 50k?
Also does it have to be one tower from each category? For example can you do something like bomb blitz and an ultra juggernaut and they both combine over 50k to work?
It just has to be 50k total in that category, in any way. So you can have multiple towers, or get one tower where the T5 costs like 49k with the little extra from the upgrades/base price before.
These are the towers I like to get on Hard Mode:
Inferno Ring (49k)
Total Transformation (48k)
Blooncineration (43k)
Carpet of Spikes (43k)
Their T5's are all below 50k, but with the previous upgrades it works out

T4 temple absorbs only 3 of 4 tower types (primary, military, magic, support). Usually you'd go for a 1/1/1/0 temple but here ISAB goes for a 1/0/1/1 temple. Only T5 temple can absorb all 4 tower types
