You know, in the racing sport, grand marshals normally appear in the track at one stage, but following the COVID-19 pandemic announcement in early-March, grand marshals are not allowed to appear in NASCAR’s race tracks (except for some races).

I found this vid funny. I know its part of the hype around NASCAR but I read that this tradition started in Indycar. Its not seen outside of US domestic motorsport as far as I know. Its humorous in Indycar as the drivers dont actually start their engines.
