Van 1989 tot 2005 vond ieder jaar de Märklin spoormodel-expositie plaats in het Carrouselpaleis. Zie hier beelden van de expositie in 1990. In deze tijd werd het nog in het Victoriaans Theater gedaan. Naast beelden van de expositie bevat deze video ook sfeerbeelden van de Efteling in 1990 inclusief het zwembad met de witte olifant op het Anton Pieck Plein.
