  • In this tutorial, I'll show you How to Make Sunburst Lines in Adobe Illustrator.
    Welcome Again,
    In this video, I will show you a simple trick on how I create randomly sunburst lines in Illustrator.
    Sunburst Lines are often used in Vintage-style logos, or commonly used on design objects such as lettering and typography to give the impression of focus.
    Sunburst lines are easy to make. But usually, we have trouble determining the random form we will make. Therefore in this video, I will make it easier.
    Basically, this trick uses the TRANSFORM EACH option in the illustration to randomly change the length of each line. Then we can automatically make sunburst lines with different variations.
    Hope you enjoy this tutorial and learn something new.

    I found an alternative workaround without using the outline mood. At 8:03, just make and compount path out of the background. Then substract (in pathfinder). Same result

    It would be better to do the lines as-is, but with an outer stroke around the live text by creating a stroke and placing it underneath the characters layer in the appearance panel. This way you could move/replace the text in a way that is non-destructive to the lines below, and then just flatten transparency and remove the white as you finalize the design.

    Thanks. But can be used Eraser Tool, to make arbitrarily spaces on lines, in the first version.

    • @nobudesign
      @nobudesign  5 лет назад +2

      Yes. You can simply use erase tool to get second version result. In second version I just wanna show that you can also transform the separate lines using transform each.
