I think people are forgetting that the logo in isolation is just the font of the name, and are focusing in on just that. Maybe people should start looking at the branding as a whole, because I think it’s looking really good
I can see what they have tried to do. They have taken that old retro yellow font (dunno what year it was), they've incorporated the new boulevard/ghost train font, and one of the Infinity logos is inside the O. I respect Thorpe for really trying to keep the nostalgia but in my opinion after all this backlash they've really got to re think this.

Welcome to Thorpe Park garden centre This is literally the vibes the -new logo give off- -actually no. I’ve gotta admit even my local garden centre has a more exciting logo than this. How many people did this new logo go through to reach the point it is and I’ve got to ask, are they all legally blind? Because this looks like a GCSE student graphic design project. Why bother spending all this money on a branding redesign to choose the most boring corporate ass logo we’ve ever seen. Rebranding is expensive and you’re not going to re do it often so you have to get it right. Why settle for a design style that’s already a decade old? By the time all signage, merch, and god knows everything else is updated you’re left with an already outdated design. The old logo was timeless. Look at Alton Towers, their logo is incredible. So iconic, and it changes based on events at the park like Scarefest, Oktoberfest, Mardi Gras, and also changes to reflect new ride releases like The Smiler, Galactica, and Wicker man. How is this Logo supposed to work? The old one looked amazing when rebranded to Darren Browns Ghost Train, even just the visual aspect of that themed logo was more enjoyable than the half ass baked attraction it was promoting. I’d seriously like to know what the feedback from the survey was you put out a few months back, because this surely is not it. Instead of looking to a selfless bland corporate rebrand, why not get the community involved? After all you say we are what makes Thorpe Park, why not give us a say? God knows how much has already been spent but it’s not too late to change. I seriously hope there’s someone actively looking at people’s reactions and feedback, for Thorpe Park’s sake, and that you don’t just plough on with this abomination. I know it sounds like I’m just complaining for arguments sake… But Thorpe Park has given me, like countless others, years of fond memories with family members who are no longer with me. It’s just sad to see it all get pissed down the drain with some GCSE art project ass looking logo 😪
The rebrand theming as a whole is OK. It’s the logo itself that needs a rework. Use what Thorpe Park has going for itself- the iconic skyline. Think like Alton towers logo, but with coasters instead of towers!
I COMPLETELY AGREE. The original logo had so much they could build on, maybe enhance the infinity logo with a better more clean font and sharper more vibrant swirls. Perhaps even putting aspects of the old thorpe park logo from the 90s and incorporating it into the design. The music isn’t awful but I don’t want them to completely remove the orignal soundtrack, it’s unnecessary. Such a step down and such a shame from one of the greatest music sequels for theme parks of all time. The Thorpe park soundtrack is incredible, I don’t know why they want to change it. What a missed opportunity not keeping “the island like no other” ?! What other park can have such an amazing slogan like that and make it work. It all makes no sense and I’d like to know whose idea this was and for changes to be made immediately. Also GET AWAY FROM THE PURPLE COLOUR. We’re not turning the entire park into rumba rapids, it’s not unisex and it looks like that of the premier corner shop near my house.

Guys listen to the music at 0.75 speed. It’s so much better. I rather the old music which sounds incredible, uplifting and makes you “feel good”. This feels like music for a RUclips ad. But it’s okay at 0.75 speed nothing to scream about. At normal speed it sounds way too fast and not really good.

Terrible logo, they should have used the the lake and dome with perhaps stealth or one of the famous coasters coming over the dome, now that would be a logo, this new one is just the name in a bold slanted font, boring and dull.
The logo on the side of my purple RIBENA drink is more interesting and punchy than this absolute abomination. CHANGE IT NOW!! CHANGE IT BACK OR REDESIGN! COMPLETE OVERHAUL!
