    Ah, the memories. Spent many happy, mindless hours of my youth in front of one of these babies. Mine was orange with a coat hanger for an antenna and took a while to warm up. Glad to see someone preserving the old stuff.

    i like it alot, only thing i dislike is the static buzzing humming coming from the crt lol, but i suppose thats part of the charm and nostalgia for those thing. for me the buzzing from them is the one thing that made me glad to upgrade to lcd's years back

    awesome project / revival of old hardware. the copyright thing i lol'd once i read the description.
    .
    it was somewhat painful to watch because there was a annoying sound frequency that gives me a headache(?). one in high frequency. my parents doesn't hear it.

    • @DrModdnstine
      @DrModdnstine  8 лет назад

      +Vinicius Haas (Vinicius W Haas) Did you hear when the TV was on? Only some people can hear it. I could always tell when a TV was on in another room because I can hear that sound through the walls

    • @viniciushaas
      @viniciushaas 8 лет назад

      +Dr. Moddnstine Hello. once again. awesome project.
      .
      the whole time the TV ( the tube to be specific ) . is working.
      the strongest of that noise is when there is image being showed(?). or full white on the screen.
      my dad have one of these televisions and a old CRT monitor, both of them on gave me headache just from being on.

    • @DJPenguino51
      @DJPenguino51 8 лет назад

      +SuperUrecords Probably the 15KHz signal generated by the flyback transformer. All CRT TV's had that high pitched "squeal" which irritated me when I was very young.

    @Key5ser5oze 8 лет назад

    Ah.... no. CRT's take up too much space and suck up too much power. Just take enough pictures/videos of these antiques to satisfy your nostalgic needs then clear it out of your house. Spend more time enjoying and appreciating your current tech while it's still current. Don't wait 'til that tech becomes obsolete to give it retro-love. Be nostalgic about the current stuff you have today before it fades into the distant past in the blink of an eye.
