  • The Kettlebell Windmill is an advanced movement for shoulder strength and stability. The athlete should be able to hold the kettlebell overhead with a locked out elbow as well as perform an overhead farmers carry before progressing to the windmill as shoulder strength and flexibility in the lateral chain and hamstrings is needed for sound movement. To perform the movement correctly, the athlete must strive to keep the shoulder from internally rotating while descending into the bottom of the movement.
