This moped is awesome. So many features and extremely practical vehicle. I wish more e-bikes came with a lot of the standard features of a moped like horn and turn signals.
I probably have a total different idea of awesome... Anyway, if you must ride, like you have to go to work and you cannot use public transportation 2 wheels cannot replace 4 wheels. Riding on 2 wheels in snow or, much worse, black ice is potential lethal. I have been looking into using one of my (proper) motorbikes (which I usually use to commute except for snow and ice) for everything and sell off my car. This winter we had 3 weeks with snow and ice, I have no death wish, so it was back to 4 wheels for the daily commute. Yet there is more. The other day I needed a new broom. Carrying a long item on 2 wheels safely is a challenge. Also if you have to attend a meeting, social event, etc. properly dressed (i.e. not jeans, T-shirt, sneakers) 4 wheels are to be preferred. My RT has sufficient space, but it is pain to pull off all your gear, swap boots for a pair of decent shoes and so on. Even more so when it is raining or snowing. My conclusion: no matter how much I dislike it, 2 wheels cannot replace 4 wheels. Yet 2 wheels are a lot of fun! By the way, when you are riding in freezing temperatures a bike with weather protection, heated grips, etc. is almost a must... I doubt the suitability of the T1S for this.
For sure! Also depends on the city you're in but definitely get it from that point of view. These things can also avoid traffic in crowded cities and get to destinations a lot faster.
congrats on the moped! This thing is freaking cool as hell. I could see my self riding this around Palermo in Sicily. I'd need the open face moped helmet with the leather goggles to complete the look tho!
Yea they require these to be registered and insured if they don't have pedals. Once they add pedals it bypasses those requirements lol. New York is weird
@@JB360_NYChow is it holding up? Recommend buying? I'm curious about the higher end. Registration I'm aware of but just a driver's license to operate or are motorcycle classes necessary?
@@cocoabiscuits so I actually ended up selling mine a few months back. Mainly because I was running out of space and a friend of mine wanted to buy it. When I had it though it was very sturdy in terms of ride quality. The version I had was the 1st generation model so the 60v battery it came with was honestly pretty bad. Although now they are shipping the new versions out with better quality cells and updated components. Definitely worth a look if you're in the market for solid commuter. In terms of licensing and registration, they are shipping them out with VIN numbers now so you should be able to register it in your state. Here in NY, all you need is a regular driver's license and you can operate it as a Class 2 moped.

Impressive features but should be called the ugly duckling. Reminds me a bit of the big honda ruckus. Seems to handle avoiding those SI pothole ridden streets nicely and still looks like a lot of fun.
That low center of gravity is a great feature to have unless it floods :) Thank you for putting out videos constantly and really enjoy the channel@@JB360_NYC
LOL 42 MPH and a speedometer that goes to 160 (MPH). That is a near-useless gauge and unless you plan to put rockets on it, it isn't going that fast anytime soon. That gauge is about as useless as 0-400 MPH on a normal car, only a tiny fraction is used.
because all our scooters use the same speedometer. we have escooters that go over 100 mph. thats why we use those. makes everything easy when sourcing parts for the moment. also the T1S goes to 50 mph. that one jb360 is using was sent with the T1 batttery with a low bms. that's why it tops up at 41 mph. also at the moment our speedometers have already been changed to digital so you dont need to worry about useless gauges anymore. you can check the new speedometer on one of our videos. a lot of already updated parts.
there are no non- weatherproof electronics on this scooter. as you can see his was riding in the rain and nothing went off. all the electronics are rating at least IP65. so no problem with rain or harsh weather. you can even wash the scooter with a water hose.

No duh 2 wheels can’t replace 4,No one ever said otherwise

Haha for sure I definitely get those vibes 😁. I'll be swapping the battery out for a 72v which can hopefully give me better top speed lol
Hi JB. The led lights on the side uses a Bluetooth app to control. It’s in the manual. Called lotus lantern
Awesome, thanks Paul!
glad you got one bruh! Been looking at this one myself! love the heated seats n stuff 😎😎😎
Definitely can see someone riding this all season.
Great video bro look good my colors
Thanks brotha!
Here in the UK it has to also have pedals like a cycle to be called a moped.
Yea they require these to be registered and insured if they don't have pedals. Once they add pedals it bypasses those requirements lol. New York is weird
pretty boujee, looks comfy too. if it had cupholders instead of that knee pad it would be 10/10 for city life
For sure! I actually have the cup holders that came with it I just didn't have time to put them on lol.
I've had my eye on these very cool mopeds but was waiting for someone to review them from the states USA.......... Looks like a really great package!
So far so good! A lot of features under the hood
@@JB360_NYC please keep us posted on your experience with this moped, good and bad. Thx

I may be getting the T1 Pro possibly sometime soon!
Do you need a licence for that? usually a class 6 for motorized bikes.

@@JB360_NYCThank You, That is good to know So I do need a class 6 motor bike licence, I live in Canada.
Well it definitely replaced my car. Comfortable ride.
so many gadgets. if you drop it all the plastics litter the ground
💯‼️
How long did it take for the delivery from Mason I am interested in their scooter madmax pro
For me it took about 3-4 weeks and came pretty well packed on a pallet. The Madmax pro looks like a beast!
@@JB360_NYC thanks for the info

They have different models dude 🤦♂️ With speeds ranging from 20-85 mph. Do research before commenting
Can you fold it and slide it under your bed or in your closet?
Are you referring to the other scooter or this one? This is a moped so definitely can't fit anywhere inside
well i know of at least 3 features my car has that ur moped doesnt
Navigation, moon roof, windshield wipers?

This moped looks absolutely insane! And it's not even that expensive. About same price as sur ron but way better top speed and range!
