Beautiful Chevy (except for the overkill Chevy interior call-outs) and definitely clean underneath. Somebody spent some time & money on the old girl. Love the 55’s and a 5 speed makes it all the sweeter !

Absolutely. EVs are really nice and convenient until it's time to replace the battery in about 4-7 years. Modern cars with a base price below 40k (today) have become 'disposable' unless it's a certain brand like Toyota, Lexus, Honda or Acura.
Absolutely love this old girl. She's Beautiful. Fix the minor stuff and add a little more to bring her to the next level just like you did your Camaro, Nick, and she would be perfect. Awesome video, Nick.

Get that nice 55 Chevy Nick, not having the key reminded me of back in 1968 I was with two high school friends driving around town in Austell Georgia at 3 am, and we got stopped by our local cops. The cop checked everything and asked me why I did not have a key and told him I keep it in my bedroom and he gave me hell then followed me back to my house. My parents were sleeping at the time thank god, and I sneaked inside got the keys with my large dice hanging from the key gave it to the nice cop and he cranked my 55 up then told me better go to bed boy you have school tomorrow. hahahahaha those were the good ole days for sure

That one should sell fast! If it's not already sold. It's an older build but nice.
Lots to love about this one, but a few things bug me. What the heck is that material on the upholstery? Looks like burlap. Also wish they would have got a reproduction steering wheel with working horn. And hooked up the temp gauge. I get it though, you're never gonna get perfection at these price levels.
Someone below commented on deleting emblems in the upholstery, I'd like to second that notion. Keep up the great work finding these great cars and making vids. I really do enjoy this channel.

I am wondering about the steering wheel choice. Can't remember seeing a more hideous addition to such a sweet ride.
It was built before the new smaller reproduction steering wheels came out but that is the first thing I would change too!

Tweed interior probably done in the 80s no flywheel cover who is hoarding all these flywheel covers rear wheel openings have been raised very hard to tell but I have a 55 so I noticed it very suttle still a very nice car ready to go cruising
I probably wouldn’t have noticed those wheel arches if you hadn’t said it. They did a good job though!

400 ? 383 stroker motor ? 5 speed with over drive is terrific. Water temp gauge is important but someone put some money in this one and it's a 210 not a Belaire only thing more rare would be a basic trim level 150. I'd be the proud owner of this one.
Alot of people don't take alot of time on the engine bay but the did a nice job on that one

A little rust in the drip rails, seems pretty common on all these old cars. I'd buy that and have it shipped right to my door if i were still in the market.

Resto mods are ok but nothing like restoring back to original. I own a very original '55 Bel Air sedan. 265, 3 spd. New paint etc. It looks like it did when it was new.

Been working since I was 10 to be here , missed out on a lot of my teenage years but I got way ahead. I now have to make my son stay home half the week so he don’t miss out on being a kid. I tell him “it’s your summer break son” but he has the same drive I had as a 12 year old. Proud of him for being a hard worker. He begs to come work every day with me. I am truly blessed
