Because canelo has spent his career fighting guys who are much bigger than him, between 154 and 175. While Chavez spent the bulk of his career fighting much smaller guys, between 130 and 140. These are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT playing fields. And forget about Chavez fighting at 175. There is no way that Chavez could have even completed at 160. If you disagree, try to picture Chavez in the ring with middleweights from the 80s or 90s like Marvin hagler, Roy Jones, or James toney. Does anybody here REALLY think he could have won any of those fights??
