Missing all you install tutorials. I was able to rig up my 2023 1875 Lund Crossover with all goodies from your vids. Charging systems, Minkota Ultera, Bow mount Helix10, console Helix12, ect. They were excellent. Hope all is well in Florida for you
Good morning Oct 1 2024 I live in Fort Pierce, Florida I truly enjoyed watching you install a stick anchor, I’m truly new and green when it come to boating. I bought a Boston Whaler Daughless 17 w/ Johnson 115 she’s quite a Beauty. I choose to view your videos because your instructions are truly to the point where I can follow and understand. Lorenzo
Thank you neighbor! I go out of Fort Pierce a lot to go offshore! Glad you like the videos and you found them helpful! Thanks for watching and commenting! Tight lines!
Great video my friend. I had one but ended up getting another one. Two of them work perfectly. I also put a short piece (8") of a pool noodle up next to handle. Also a clip with about 10' of paracord on it. Good luck. Steve
Hello, always looking forward seeing your how to videos I think there great. When are we going to see some fishing videos? Thank you for taking the time for us
Thanks I’m glad you like the channel! I have been fish as often as I can but I haven’t been filming all that much.. just enjoying it and learning new spots and getting to know the fishery out here.. but there is some footage I have that I want to make a video of.. thanks for watching the channel and commenting I really appreciate it!
I’m very happy with it! I actually installed this in February but just got the video done.. It works great fishing or just at the sandbar. Thanks for watching and commenting!
They are a great boat for casting and getting shallow.. I’ve seen some fly fishing guides in nor cal buy them! They do good in light to medium chop. The LTS is better for more chop and then the offshore 214 I almost bought for the offshore boat but I decided on the seafox 228
Hi great vid, after having it a couple of months how are you liking it I’m thinking of getting one but not sure if I should go bow or stern, does the boat swing around and get hit from behind by the other boats wake
It will swing around if you only have one no matter what.. ideally you would have one on the bow and the stern. I have installed a couple of removable ones from panther products that I use for my underwater gigging lights on the bow . I’m going to pick up another stick and use it see how good it is. Right now I’ve been using my trolling motor and spot locking it then dropping the anchor pole to lock me into a spot when I’m close to docks or mangroves. Thanks for watching glad you liked the video
Very nice, you think that system will work sticking it into our lakes back in Sacramento area?? I know your probably going to be using yours in sand bars.
It would work in anything not too rocky.. definitely works well out here .. and I think in alot of places in nor cal would work! Fishing shallow areas or beach the boat for a day at the lake.. anchor bow out in shallow water near the lake shore then drive this in and the boat could roll up and down with the wakes and stay put . Also would work great fishing the delta !
@@ReelLifeFisherman I'll definitely be adding one to my 1650. Thanks for the reply. Any chance you could also share your thoughts on trolling plates for 40hp Mercury? I'm tired of dragging 5 gallon buckets around. Lol
What’s your thoughts between single rod 8ft or the rod you can adjust to 8ft or 12ft it’s screw together pole would this have the same strength as your single pole? Much appreciate your advice
Hey. I just bought a 2023 mako pro skiff 17cc and I saw you had the same boat and you were a Mercury mechanic. I have been having an issue with my boat where it almost sounds like the prop is slipping but it only does it between 3-4 thousand rpm. The mako plant is trying to say that is how the boat should be. But obviously no boat should run like that. I was curious if you had any input?
Thanks! I haven’t made the switch to them yet personally.. but if weight and space are a factor I would definitely consider it. Main issue is price and reliability for me at the moment.. you should definitely check out the brands and reviews on them before making your choice. More guys are running them now. Especially in bass boats . But bass guys love throwing away money! 🤣
@@ReelLifeFisherman Understood. When I see a bass boat with 4 Lowrance hds 12’s they can afford to take few risks on lithium. Wife and I will be in Treasure coast visiting in January for possible new relocation Sac to Florida
We do like it here a lot! we made the same choice! Came here from Sacramento all it took was one vacation..Still learning spots and techniques.. but we enjoy learning. It’s definitely a different way of life here..Let me know when you’re here maybe we can meet up.. I’m in Sebastian
