This is the first Medford I like the looks of it. It really nice. Shame it 0.1 over 3 inches.
Easy to shorten the blade point one inch or just carry as is dumb rules are ment to be bent 🗡🗡🗡

I love it! Fun & informative review. I just ordered a PVD version from the MKT website. This channel is bad for my wallet.
In the uk it’s a cutting edge of 3" or less, so there are options to add a choil or to shorten the tip. The CRK Impinda is the same 😞The Opinel #5 is the largest uk legal out of the factory. Looking forward to getting one, legal carry or not!
Same laws in Norway but they're not strictly enforced. Also, we have barely any cops on the streets where I live.

The Gentleman Jack looks seriously nice. Someday I'm going to own a Medford. Any one would do but I'd really like to get my paws on a Praetorian or Marauder.

If it comes to the blade law in the UK, the length indication 3“ doesn’t mean the overall blade length but the length of the cutting edge. So, it might be possible that it is still legal in the UK even though the blade length is about 3.1“.

I'm not legally qualified but I believe the UK law states a minimum length for cutting edge.
It might be acceptable to increase the sharpening choil. (Called it the Spanish Notch when I was a kid?)
The half stop is kind of pointless if it can nick your finger at the half open anyway. Personally, though if you have to alter it at this price - you bought the wrong knife.

Ok I'm not a a knife designer but make that blade 4 inches with a 5 inch handle add a flipper tab and mabey thumb studs and a button lock and it would a 11/10...but that's just me

That is a beautiful knife . But I dont think women like slip joints . At least my wife doesn't. I finally got her to carry a premium knife . Benchmade mini coalition for the win . She loves the fact that it's an auto .
My wife cannot stand slip joints. I have 5 and she won't carry any of them. She even took her victornox sd off of her keys... -.-
She's scared to cut herself yet has only been cut by a benchmade freek lol.

You all need to check out the D2 version of the Gerber Flatiron. It is really nice.
I wish they would make the asada in a better steel. I much perfer that design. I held a flatiron but didn't buy one. I haven't been that impressed with gerber.

Beautiful looking slipjoint, but very expensive compared to many other S35 & titanium knives. Damn shame its 3.1", but I'm sure the addition of a sharpening choil may bring it to UK legal specifications as the cutting edge would then be under 3". Great video, thanks for sharing guys 👊🏻😷👍🏻
It is really neat, quite impressed by Medford! To be completely honest, I'd rather get the Real Steel Luna instead, more color/handle scale variations, lower price, and most importantly for me, has a great pocket clip. Great video, guys!

That’s a very good looking knife. I would carry that in a Hitch&timber.
I believe this knife's name is derived from the original name of this particular style of non-locking folders known as "Jack-knives". And since this was intended as a "gentleman's" pocket-knife... 'Gentleman Jack'.

Would like to see a video on your Medford knives from favorite & down. EDC carryable and down. I got a bonus from work and then looking 2 bye a knife. Trying to find a good suggestion. I can buy three or four knives or 1 Medford or Chris Reeve.
As a slip joint type I can venture two opinions, it's way too expensive for a jack knife and the pull is way too soft.
Walk and talk is more than just the sound. I wouldn't carry this knife.

At least it's a decent steel to keep that unused resale value up for people other people who don't use their knives.
Medfords don't seem to have that great of a resale value. See quite a few of them for considerably less for sale 2nd hand. I paid $750 total on 3 brand new in box Medfords recently from a friend's son who needed cash. I got a Slim Midi, On Belay, and Proxima for $750 total. Think they all go for $500-700 range if I bought them at somewhere like BHQ. All were brand new never carried or cut anything with any of them.

Can't carry knives in England. Maybe camping, on private land/property, on farms or if you need it for work....But if you are in a town or city and you have something larger than a Victoranox on your key chain = possible prison time
