always a pleasure to hear you Dan ! the new shocks are impressive ! i'm glad that you make variations of the great raminator ! a mud truck is a great idea !
I love the Mega Truck! Wish I had the cash laying around cause I’d get my Raminator a brother. Those shocks are amazing and the steering upgrade is awesome! Awesome body!
@@davidcoombs1874 Nice! I'm not familiar with the Dynojet, but the 400's and 450's are no joke! I grew up riding two strokes including the big bore stuff like the YZ490 and the CR500 so I was always used to that quick top end power band charge. So I was always hesitant about the big bore four strokes thinking they wouldn't be as fun until I got a LTZ400 and I wasn't disappointed! I'm a big guy and that LTZ would pull the front wheels off the ground through all 5 gears. Unfortunately it ended up becoming a money pit so I sold it and got back into 1/5 scale rc cars. But the Raptor 700 keeps drawing my attention.
On my bucket list! Saving my pennies now for it to have a running buddy for the V2 Raminator. Thanks for the side by side shock comparison. We have all been waiting to see that. Will you guys still be producing the red parts for our V2 rigs?
I'm getting really close to making the call. I want this one with both sets of tire and the parts to ad rearwheelsteer. Yes maby4x schon. Maybe become a dealer up in maine
These trucks are a really great truck from what I’ve seen. I just can’t bring myself to order one only bc the engine seems low on tq. The 80cc trucks are awesome but not for another 3k. Hopefully they will boost performance of the factory engine one day.
I ordered 2 of the raminators talked back and forth with the distribution companys customer service that where selling them and got one excuse after another they’re on their way they’re on their way and one day they where gone 🤬 But they do look well built Have fun if you ever get one
Only Buy them from www.PrimalRC.com and if you pay a lot less then $3000 just assume it is a scam. The scams are popping up all the time. It's a real shame.
I can appreciate all the world and engineering on all the trucks you guys make I got a question would it be possible to drill small holes for grease nipples like on the drive shaft one day il own one of these things also can you guys please make a grave digger version I think they would fly off the shelf
The driveshafts are still too small to incorporate grease fittings but that would be cool. A Gravedigger version is definitely a option for us someday.
@@PrimalRC I kinda thought the save forg9t if there 1/4 or 3/8 inches hole tk drill and that would be amazing I'm sure the legend himself would be aboard for approval
I really dig that new truck body, but I'd like to see an unpainted version of it and an unpainted version of the Raminator. As well as offer both with the choice of wheels and tires. Btw, I'd love to see a Primal Funny Car or a ProMod to go with my Quicksilver. Hint... Hint.... Hint... 😉
You can contact us at sales@PrimalRC.com if you want different wheels with the truck, we plan on having clear bodies available in March. We are working on a new car kind of like that during this new year. :)
That goes into the transmission if you want to lock out the reverse feature and just have it locked into forward only. It's great for electric conversions that don't use the clutch system.
Wish I could get my v3 ram to work. Fully charged batteries and about 50 feet away the engine cuts off after about a minute and gives me a solid red light.
@@peterjones8546 That's just a manual engine kill switch, always leave that in the ON position and kill your engine from the remote kill switch controller (channel 3)
Technically yes, but the lever arm on the servos would only be 1cm long. The torque is 100kg per cm. A longer lever would lead to less lifting power because the formula for torque is T = F*r. F is the force (100kg), r is the radius (1cm).
I only post a video every few months or so. Primal RC is my business, making youtube videos is not. To make a popular channel you need to post a lot more videos
The gas engines retail price is only $120 so selling one without it is not worth it IMO. Just remove the engine and save it for if you ever sell the truck or convert it back t gas and install the electric kit yourself. The Fine Design conversion is a very easy bolt in kit.
Those drive shafts need to be splined and not square…a square is the absolute worst solution guys…over 100 years of real car production will agree with me…square drives are subject to huge wear and unreliability…ask Audi about their square drive oil pumps for example…go spline and never look back,I know it’s harder to produce and may add a little cost, but it’s the only solution in the long run…square drives will also wear badly in certain places and cause HUGE “torque lockout” with the ridges it will produce…look at shaft drive motorcycles and learn from that
I plan on getting this in November. (with wifes approval) I can't hide this truck. Brushless Mega truck for me all the way. great video !
