Yes to pay for the added health costs for the harm from these. The cost of that harm is huge compared to what companies earn by using these in our foods.
Just like Trump calls out Fake News, somebody (in his upcoming administration) needs to call out *fake food.* What is fake food? Believe it or not, much of the "food" at the grocery store IS NOT WHAT IT SAYS IT IS on the *front label.* Starting with petroleum, and using the "tricks" made possible by the methods of Organic Chemistry, petroleum is changed into edible products *that imitate* GENUINE food products. It's been going on for so long, that most people don't even notice. The reason is because the petroleum imitation IS CHEAPER to manufacture, when compared with the cost to source the associated _genuine_ food item.
I think you will find that the same companies that sell the "poison" also sell the associated pharmaceutical treatments and cures. You can put a $fine$ on the food processing division of a company, and then end-up spending the proceeds (of the $fines$) on pharmaceuticals, produced by the overall same company.

I believe that the president of a great country should be freer from such pressure when making the right and necessary decisions FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY and think more about what mark he will leave in history, and not about electoral preferences. In today's political situation in the world, when global changes and reformatting of relations between countries are taking place, STABILITY OF POWER has become an advantage (unfortunately, only for autocracies and dictatorships). In order to take full advantage of democracy, power needs to be made more stable and consistent.
TRUMP needs to declare his main goal if elected president - to reform the presidential power, propose constitutional changes for the presidential elections of 2028: the US president is elected for a term of at least 6 or 8 years WITHOUT THE RIGHT OF RE-ELECTION for a second term.
The US needs a president for a term of 8 years WITHOUT THE RIGHT OF RE-ELECTION.

The thing about _"drill, baby, drill !"_ is that, back when oil drilling (within the USA) first began, the kind of oil that came out of the ground *was different* (than the oil that comes out of the same ground, today.) Likewise, the in-country Oil Refineries were built to process the type of oil that originally came out of the ground. The reason why the USA imports oil is because the refineries that the USA has *are appropriate* for _foreign_ oil, but are *no longer appropriate for Domestic Oil.* In order for _"drill, baby,_ _drill"_ to succeed, the US Government will have to direct investment money to the US oil companies, to encourage them to build new (appropriate) domestic oil refineries.
I feel sorry for Florida, Ashley Moody sounds like an air head. It is clear even the best state government is populated with incompetents. Maria is great!
