The show was filmed in Wellington, New Zealand ( Wellington High did an excellent job pretending to be Hills High) and fun fact, Lucy Lewis (Thomasin McKenzie) is the real life daughter of our evil Principal (Miranda Harcourt).
Lucy Lewis is disabled ( she walks with a crutch), and no one will let her forget it. Especially her wheelchair user nemesis who thinks she's "not disabled enough". Lucy can't win! When she discovers evil goings on in her school, Lucy must face her fear of public speaking and stand up for her fellow students. Even though it's both literally and figuratively tricky.
The series recently won "The Award of Excellence for Disability Issues" at The Indie Fest Film Awards.
