Just ordered my koni yellow struts .they come massively recommended from everyone at thirdgen.org but nightmarishly cost $750 for a pair in canada.i bit the bullet,i want a great ride.
13:46 Tip: (I know Matt didn't install this...) NEVER run your RCAs/Speaker wires along with the Power cable for your amps. It will induce all kinds of noise into your stereo system 95% of the time (especially that lovely "alternator whine" through the speakers). I ALWAYS run the Power cable and turn-on lead down the opposite side of the car. PS, I'm putting shocks and struts in my '84 T/A this weekend.. (Lakewood drag stuff though) :D THANKS for the vid!
I have experienced the poor quality and fitment of Mevotec lower ball joints on a Scion TC. They were not correct for the vehicle! They were definitely "Toyota shaped " and might have fit a Camry,idk. Everyone should avoid the Mevotec shit! However, Koni shocks are stellar.
Hello I got an 85 z28 lowered with drop zone springs. When I hit a bump or pothole car hits hard like I got no suspension. Will these struts help and will it raise the car a little. I get outer tire wear when car bottoms out. Thx
