    Hi Jonny,
The oll Girls coming on a real treat.
For all those who don't believe what is really going here, I've known John M0XFX for at least 20 yrs, and I know that he don't cheat, at least when it comes to Radio Repair & Design. The Design and build of this radio is from his own pocket and head, , , , not out of another radio & stuffed into the old CB Case, Which I personally owned prior to this set of modifications shown here.
    Well Done So Far John.
    Kind Regards to All.
    Ray, M0RAY, Kent, UK.

Thank you for walk-through, John. This is certainly a very interesting project you've undertaken! It reminds me that we're very fortunate these days that we can buy relatively inexpensive, function-level boards / modules. Frees you up to concentrate on the higher level, overall functioning of your project.
And that's what I think folks are finding so intriguing with this project... that you're really packing in the features!

Thank you for your comment and I’m glad you find it interesting. I totally agree that we are fortunate these days with the availability of cheap RF modules. The micro computer and coding does make the radio perform really well and with the added benefit of being to add many functions by writing code. My next project I thinking of a complete SDR transceiver not sure whether to go with a mixer or direct conversion. I have been playing with the (Hack RF One) module which I’m finding very interesting. Best Regards John
