Uh, no. It has nothing to do with nationality. If you love someone, you wouldn't expect them to do 'everything' as that's unreasonable, unloving and a poor example of leadership as a man. In fact, If a man doesn't know how to do dishes, wash clothes or take care of a home, marriage isn't something he should be contemplating.
They live in small apartments and it doesnt appear the men do muscular work. White collar, serve possibly the professions. It might be a different story if the men are loggers, fishermen, farmer, miners or . Perhaps weconstructions. We should aim in equality among the sexes in those professions

My husband was a good provider and never helped with children or house. I had complete responsibility of the home..but it was Fine..I Loved what I did. When he started expecting me to leave the home and work for money..is when things went South for us.

I think it's a load of BS. I am born and raised in Toronto Canada. I am black from Jamaican and Trinidad background but very much Canadian mind set. Toronto is a very diverse city when it comes to different cultures. And like there are many different types of foods there are many types of people. It all comes down to your own personal preference. I know what foods I like because I've tried most of them. To say that only one type of person makes the best husband tells me you have a very closed mind. Unless you've dated all types of men from all types of background then I find you to be a hypocrite. Everyone is entitled to there own preference of partner. But be open minded about other people and cultures on this planet. This is my home too. The roof I live under is the same sky you live under. Get to know the people/ people's around you first. Then after you've done that make your choice in preference to whom you like. I think Toronto men make the best husbands. And when I say that there is no race attached to that statement. Open your mind and stop being shallow.
