Can't front, that curved escalator is dope. That software too
The two things Bloomberg has in common with robots:
1.) They know better than you do what is best for you
2.) They have no problem liquidating you
When people are trolling the self made Electrical Engineer turned CEO with 20k+ employees, I wonder what they do for a living & how many they employ to be so critical.
they jealous
So if you’re successful enough in the business world you can be excused for racially abhorrent policies...is that the premise of your statement?
@@stms4411 Brilliant Strawman! Yes! Esp when you repeatedly apologize & make amends. We have had a plethora of far more racially abhorrent Presidents, inc the current president. I care about policies, not their favorite colors!
Agolf Tweetler - apologies just before you declare your candidacy are suspicious to anyone paying attention. Favorite color?!? This isn’t about whether you like the blue crayon more than the red one, it’s whether you think less or more of someone in virtue only of the color of their skin
@@stms4411 Stop and frisk is still widely used today. How many black people are on your payroll?
Bloomberg should be running as an independent centrist. Which is what most ordinary Americans want.
Booooooo!
adam7190 he’s smart enough to know he’d never win that way ala Ross Perot.
He should, the country needs someone who is independent, but he is better off trying to get in as a Democrat.
You realize that means Trump will win because of the spoiler effect
He's a Republican oligarch, that's not what ordinary Americans want or need.
This was a pre-presidential ad for the democratic nomination.
Dean Jones It's also informative..
@@rebeccahale322 Oh, so true. When people whom you thought had a higher degree of morals than most do things which demonstrate otherwise, not only is it shocking, but revealing of their true nature. i.e. "Judge Judy" throwing in her support for Michael Bloomberg -- a misogynist, a liar and humanitarian fraud, among other things.
2 days before super Tuesday😡
60 Minutes doesn't mention that he changed the law in order to run for a third term as mayor and then changed it back when his term ended.
Savith S Mayors can’t just change laws by themselves. Legally impossible.
@@franksmith6351 Why term limits? Let people decide it. Some want their lawmakers who they trust stay in service.
@@chrisragone8785 Exactly, people agreed to it in a referendum and City Hall approved it. Bloomberg earned his 3rd term.
@@HusseinDoha There are term limits on president. And it should apply to congress as well. Why? Look at mitch mcconnell, needs to be retired.
@@chrisragone8785 No , but money can get it done .
I love when a climate change activist shows a reporter around New York in his private helicopter.
Michael M what’s the alternative? Life moves. The solution is a helicopter that doesn’t emit gas. Not eliminating helicopters. He’s done a lot to clean up the planet.
Iam Sol life goes on for the rest of us too and we need our personal vehicles as well. No two tier standards for the rich and the rest of us.
They all have their liberal ways to rationalize their "do as I say, not as I do" life. They can plant a tree and find solace and safety. The biggest frauds ever.
satchell78 That was Trump also
They also use helicopter to make research and observe and study environment, that is called technology, even airplanes are use to study hurricanes and other phenomena.
Bloomberg will be a good candidate. He actually does care to save the environment or at least create solutions for a problem. I like what he has done.
He's better than Trumpinski
you are a sucker. the USA does not control the world's environment. and we don't control the world's polluters, i.e. china and india.
@@anteldrobat3880 best president ever. TRUMP 2020!!
Hes worse than trump but that anyone but trump narrative put the blinders on you
Dems would rather vote for a senile old man who has leached of the government his entire life instead of a self made billionaire.
We love you BLOOMBERG...... Those who disagree with you are those who are afraid that you will win the presidential candidacy, those who are jealous, the corrupt who cannot believe that people can create an empire with hard work. God bless you and your family.
Hahahahahahaha haha the constitution laughs at you and your Bloomberg types
Oh pahlease!!! You're making me nauseous
I had a Bloomberg ad before this video.....who would have guessed?
Now he has $60 billion.
George B he makes 106 million dollars a day!
I'd really like to know why there was a cut when at 8:45 he says "on the democratic side..." between 'teacher evaluations' and 'helping the banks.'
Just curious if he had other things on his list for both democratic and republican and they make it fairly seamless with the cuts back and forth. Is there an uncut version of that part of the interview?
Leaked Audio Exposes Bloomberg Saying He'll "Drone" His Critics & Protect The Banks.
probably not cut off; he belongs in the democratic party. He's for teacher evaluations/ trying to cast himself as a middle of the roader when he's just another liberal democrat.
@@davidazinger5639 He's a Republican running as a Democrat. But i admit, those lines have blurred a lot lately. And the audio was cut off early. I do a lot of editing and i recognized it was cut there. Exactly where Mathew Alverez noticed. They use an old editing trick that is very obvious to me. They have the last second of the word fade out (right before the cut) to try and hide that it is a cut.
It was probably cut off because he doesn't stand for anything on the Democratic side, except for corruption, But that's more the DNC and not the base. He's Trump 2.0.
Matthew Alvarez good catch. Would probably have hurt him. The interview was a love fest.
By todays standards Mike Bloomberg is extremely successful.. What's the down side?
Stop and frisk, that right there makes him not fit
Seriously,he wants to help the banks?
@@sektor710
You must love violent crime.
Bobby Markham That is your dumb opinion. A vote for Sanders in the primary is a vote for Trump as he would get clobbered in the general election. So, for all intents you’ve pretty much guaranteed that you will get another 4 years of someone a 1000 times more racist than Bloomberg all because of stop and frisk. How stupid.
Rebecca Hale Ask the clown below. It’s that type of mini mind thinking that is going to guarantee 4 more years of Trump.
When he gets to heaven, he's going right in? I think he may be stopped and frisked first.
Lol
he wasnt wrong....
😂😂😂
White billionaires dont get stopped and frisked.
HAAA
I've been to that building. The cafeteria is incredible. It's like a mall food corp.
I was hired to draw caricatures at an office party.
I was chauffeured there and given the royal treatment.
Needless to say the man knows how to run an event.

Can I get a large sugary soda and a pack of smokes there

@@TheSubwaysurfer Bloomberg: A World of Restrictions
@Jelly Belly Of course they can.
My larger point is that Bloombergworld is a small world now but if he got the reins of real presidential power he would become the petty dictator nationwide that he already is in the building he owns. He's a robotic, data spitting, creature who wants to micromanage your life because he knows better than you.
I wish I could buy a segment on 60 minutes
@John Caulfield Jesus man calm down
Midwestwern Monsieur that’s was Bloomberg’s alt account😂
If you want to see bias in action this is it. Stop an frisk was never mentioned.
He is actually one of the more progressive candidates. Don't blame him if he is spending his
wealth to help people. I like Bernie but I admire Bloomberg.
ljacobs357 you’re an idiot
Real businessman. Not a property developer with an inherited headstart and cushion
Thank God for people like Mike Bloomberg
64.5 billion in one life time damn
Bloomberg 2020
He called Trump a con and then joked about it when they spoke after Trump became president? No wonder Trump calls him Mini Mike.
Oh yes Trump definitely is a con
Coal still have a giant share of energy output in the country. It declined because natural gas is cheaper in operation. But coal have the advantage of stockpiling the fuel for months. Granted is way more polluter than other forms of energy. But a balance need to be struck.
The Internet as we know it today didn't exist in 1981 but what we now call the Internet was actually invented in 1969 but it was called Darpanet back then so it's not quite true to say that it hadn't been invented by '81.
He was also wrong about the PC not having been invented yet when he started his company (in 1982). There were several PC's on the market by then.
@@jefflewis4 Very true. The film War Games which was released in the early 80s featured an early PC. It's just that there were no graphics, just text.

There's a curved elevator in the Bellagio in Vegas. That was built in the early 2000s.

Go Giuliani you beautiful man
People are surprised at Bloomie being smart and rich, LOL. That's something I respect about alot of Jewish people. Place high value on education and entrepreneurship, especially in societies that allow it.
That's what my father taught me. " You can't take it with you "
Who else came here since dude ran for prez?
Frank Smith Well seeing that it was just posted I’m assuming that is their point...
That’s why they posted the video
If he can create such a massive wealth and empire, well he could easily run America and fix the economy for sure... hope he runs again next term.
Let’s go Bloomberg! Best candidate by a good amount
bloom((berg))
Phenomenal person.
I don't agree with some of what he supports but he does have the right idea.
Why stop at just buying politicians when you can afford to also buy your way into becoming president.
Trump is selling the country and Mike is buying it back.
You mean how Bernie is buying the election by offering free stuff
Why stop at just posting baseless nonsense when you can also troll vitriol.
jenny ruiz Hahahaha what a joke.
@ThatOneGirl Trump doesn’t care, he wouldn’t ever donate a penny of his money. It’s pretty bad when you (Trump) has a fundraiser for Saint Jude’s hospital and they have to sue you to get the money that was raised. Trump ripping off kids battling cancer should say it all!
The more I see of this guy the more I like.
Mike Bloomberg for President.
It's actually less likely for people to feel fine
because it takes a miracle to find a reason/comparison.
that didn’t age well
Yes I really need a rich man to worry about how much soda pop I drink.
Am I crazy or Bloomberg is a good guy? Why do people hate him, it’s not his fault his rich?
Jesus Christ At least he did/does Philanthropy I guess. Then again in most cases when someone has that much wealthy they feel obligated to do at least at least a little Philanthropy.
the most competent candidate we’ve ever had since Bill Clinton and our country chose Biden. Our people will always chose feelings over logic. Thats where Bloomberg went wrong in promoting himself. Everything about him is about logic, pragmatism, and integrity. Thats how he’s lived his life from the very beginning. Oh well
If money was not an issue what would you do?
Life without stress
How convenient they didn't discuss his Stop & Frisk policy and practices, or the NDA's he had the women sign who sued him.
Why does he all of a sudden think stop and frisk was a bad idea?
Very good question why?
He is a coward. If You truely believe in something don't wiggle. He wiggles like a boneless creature that he is.
Stop and frisk was good for New York. Crime decreased drastically.
@@glossygloss472 100% agree with you. Crime was low. If Only Bloomberg did not flipflaped on that. He would have had my respect.
Why is he NOT the presdent ?
He used the information he got first from his terminal company to help his news company get the latest data
Thats smart. Thats a good way to take advantage of that edge.
I wouldn't have thought of that
6:08
I am Michael Bloomberg and I approve of this message.
2:42 So he got a mere $10,000,000 severance.
He was the general partner of the Solomon brothers so they had to give his shares.
This ad brought to you buy the money of one man.
yup and not his dad...
We’re now in an era where the presidential seat is for sale. Only the wealthy can afford a nomination.
Lol you’re saying that like it’s something new. Almost all US presidents were wealthy.
Actually that is kinda dope he flys helicopters haha
The Democratic Party needs Michael Bloomberg to be their nominee in 2020
That election will be very talked about. Imagine these two titans debating each other??
I see no wrong in this guy... Especially seeing that terminal thing presentation... what an idea! But I have to be honest the biggest impression made on me curved escalator, what..?! AMERICA this is a dude who will find the solution for you to go in a straight line and up, even when the road is curved.... No shadow of a doubt that he on his own probably did more good and help the US than the rest of candidates after decades in government.
He’s now worth 65 billion dollars
I love how at the 8:10 mark he walks past that revolver with the twisted up barrel all the while he was surrounded by a dozen heavily armed men.
He was a mayor, he might have enemies.
Great interview comparing to last Sunday (Mar. 1) one in which Scott Pelley interrupted Bloomberg's comment on Trump's rumbling about coronavirus. Mr. Pelley seemed helping Trump to clear his vicious intention, very unnewsmanship like Fox channel.
i'm liking this bloomberg fella.
@quest 77051: He is very very interesting. He described himself....correctly! Blunt. Managerial. Self-Confident. I'm liking him too.
@@avaolivia2 i'm thinking he's the only one that can beat trump.
Imagine sitting close to mike bloomberg in the office just to see that you are sitting close to the wealthiest man in new york
I am glad to see Mr Bloomberg running for President
ThatOneGirl I said I am glad to see him running even though I prefer Bernie a Bernie Bloomberg ticket I believe will be the winning combination
NYC was so much better when Bloomberg was mayor.
10 Mil for severance pay ! Umm yeah what’s going on there ?
He was made a partner.
@8:08 ‘Penelope’
Bloomberg for POTUS
great business man but as a statesman/politician, not much.
Let me guess you guys can have Michael Bloomberg on 60 Minutes, but you can't have VoiceoverPete on here for 60 Minutes. What a great shame for the internet.
This was years ago
Perhaps there’s something fundamentally wrong when a 39 year old gets fired in 1981 and gets a $10mil severance package (worth nearly $27mil in 2017 dollars)
It helps to be smart and provide alot of value. There are NFL players that make more than that.
J K - that’s really my point. What value did he possibly drive that after 17 years into a career as a part of an organization (not an owner) that warranted $27 mil of go away money. And those NFL players you refer to.....when they are cut they get nothing.
@@stms4411 And they are plenty of investment bankers that get the pink slip after one year. Bloomberg made more money years after he got fired b/c he was smart.
J K - I know and do not dispute this. My comment is the criticism of a system where a guy gets fired from a job and makes $27 mil to leave. What he did later was entrepreneurship- I’m referring to one point in time......- severance package of that size. Feel free to agree or disagree but staying on topic would be appreciated
Geoff Gruce
There had to be very big work money involved to begin with. If contract calls for certain conditions and a $10M is the “walk” money, then that’s what one receives. Also, 37-39yo in money industry is MATURE. he had been at it for 12 yrs.
At this age some medical doctors only are starting their careers after 12 years of schooling. But Information and finance are very different.
I wish he could do some of that smart info management in healthcare industry.
I don’t know what he has as health “insurance” for his employees, but with his smarts he really could give spine and feet to healthcare access. ACCESS. NOT “COVERAGE”.
So here’s a guy that states during this interview that he values honesty (in himself and others) and likes rule following (best thing about flying is you follow the rules or you die.
Consider that against two facts:
1. To address his detractors on the sugary drinks opposition he brought to NYC, he states that new Yorkers’ life expectancy increased by 3 years during that span.....conveniently leaving out that across the US, life expectancy increased by almost 2 years everywhere else
2. The rule follower changed the rules to run for a third term
Smart guy and I’d vote for him if he were the nominee (which is not too likely now) but the man doesn’t live up to the commercials about the man
Geoff Gruce
Did you ever think that his move in New York gave a push to other cities across the country or even individuals to really DO CUT THE SUGARY DRINKS form their routine?
Natasha S wasn’t commenting on the move itself, just the “honest guy” being dishonest
Probably the best mayor this city has ever had. The reason for that is he didn't have a hidden agenda. Regardless if you agreed with his policies or not he did what he thought was the right thing to help people. His motives weren't political gains or money like it is for %90 of of all politicians.
This country would be a far better place if he was in the white house.
@@ArtU4All It did. I have never researched the soda part but cities, counties and states across the country adopted his anti smoking laws. He is the reason you can't smoke in many bars and clubs in most big cities.
There’s only 1 thing I don’t like about Bloomberg,
and that’s that he allowed Comrade DeBlasio to happen...
So you are ok with stop and frisk? An admitted racially biased policy.
Bobby Markham, oh please, the ‘Me Too’ movement missed a perfect opportunity to harrass anyone who touched them for money
@@youngimages2000 what are you talking about? Mike Bloomberg is on tape saying he knew and wanted minorities targeted. So I'm not sure what metoo has to do with anything. Do you usually act like this when someone challenges your viewpoint?
Typing is acting?
Bloomberg need to be Joe running mate
I would have liked to see his Presidency, but it would have been a 3 way split.
Too bad Bloomberg got in late because if people had more time to get to know his record, his stand on the issues and his capabilities they would also know he's the best qualified to beat Trump. I really don't think Biden is going to be able to beat Trump and as for Bernie, the DNC just isn't going to allow him to be the nominee.
He should be Potus. I'm sure he would help common people much more than the current admin!
How will he pay off the debt without increase it
He's like Superman.
To all the Bernie supporters on here blaming Mr. Bloomberg for everything but the Kennedy assassination: Grow up dammit!!!!
Dude how old are you with that comment? Let me guess you mellow out listening to Barbara Streisand.
Could come back if they just sit there and study.
Unfortunately, the ability to be a president as mayor of NYC is slim to none, theres too many controversies that are involved with all of them...his was war on sugar and war on minorities with stop n frisk and war on gun owners and war on the environment...as hes flying around in a helicopter...
deblasio would take a whole page for his downsides
Three years later: vaping on every corner
Please rescue us from the virus please🙏🙏🙏
Hey Mike Bloomberg!
Had Biden not run for President, I think Bloomberg could have won the nomination (or at least come 2nd to Bernie).
Parts of that he sounded like Donald Trump. Lol
No, never, not one bit. He never sounded stupid. He always sounds like he really knows what he's talking about.
Imagine being so rich you could literally buy yourself into a mayoral position...
Imagine being so irrelevant you just post edgy comments on RUclips.
Mike Bloomberg would be a very effective President. I'd take this man over lunatic trump in a heartbeat.
Stick with what you do best, create wealth and use it to help others. Well done.
Paid for by Bloomberg 2020
Too much Money and Power , and he wants the presidency? It’s like Thanos the putting the last stone on the infinity gauntlet.
neogigo Exactly like Trump.
Resolute#1 almost, but this guy has the information power at his fingertips..combined with presidential resources it’s super dangerous
A wise president would take pains to arm citizens with the facts. A wise president would tell people to take precautions and prepare for possible disruptions in the daily routines of life. In other words, a wise president would say exactly what officials from the CDC said at that Wednesday press conference, right before Trump told everyone the exact opposite.
A wise president would also not gut the agencies tasked to deal with precisely this type of situation, but that horse is also out of the barn and far down the road.
It is a grim irony that Trump’s usual practice of whistling past the graveyard may come to cost him more politically than the outbreak itself if his own actions have exposed the country to greater peril, which seems more certain by the hour.
Mike Pence will be no help in this, and as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, a lot of people are probably going to get hurt because of it. Slapping a muzzle on government scientists, as the administration did Thursday, is a frighteningly poor second step. Tapping Pence to lead this effort was the first.
Is your dishwasher not working? DON'T WORRY MIKE WILL GET IT DONE!!!
I respect Bloomberg, he is a educated, successful and extremely level heading leader...he has vision
Omg! This man so should be president!
Please show this video to everybody!
He even flies his own helicopter.
What does the helicopter have to do with anything
I mean, I don't agree with him, politically at least, but he is a man who understands capitalism, and he is cognitively healthy, unlike joe biden, I would prefer him than joe biden 4 sure.
