@AquaticBuddha I'm no pro but I would say that because of the sea state (wind against tide so short choppy waves) and that it was windy, the slalom setup would be much faster, especially reaching and downwind although losing some upwind angle. Also multi-hulls can't point as high as the equivalent mono-hull so speed is more important

Fair enough, although you don't just hang there; core, legs and to some degree arms all come into it. I know the better you are the more efficient it gets, but it's still wind against body pivoting on the feet.
not really a fair challenge, windsurfers change the sail size depending on the wind strength, boat can't do that so for a power to weight ratio the windsurfer would win

GoPro also has a wrist mount as well, if you wanna use that. But for the mast, the roll bar or the handle bar mount would do.

Thats why Cribb was using only a seven metre sail, if he wanted to make it lopsided he wouldve taken out something along the lines of a 8.5 meter sail
