I own a 2000 Heritage Softail AND a 2018 Ulra Limited. I LOVE my softail 100x MORE than any bike I've ever had! I can strip the windshield and quick release bags in 2 mins. We own the ginormous Ultra Limited because of my wife and that fact she likes the comfort and the tunes. Me? I'd rather ride my Heritage for 10 hours and be quiet and think in my own head....it's what motorcycling has always been for me.
I agree, I will never understand why some people want music blasting when they are riding. I just want to enjoy the sights and sounds of the road, and realize how lucky I am to still be riding after almost 40 years in the saddle... Ride On!!
I have a 2000 Heritage Classic and love it. There are different kinds of plastic or metal bag inserts that will keep the bags from sagging. Probably the best things I did were putting a Corbin seat on it and installing the “fangs” lowers in front to keep the wind from coming up from under the windshield.
Gen X’er here, just got a 2014 Heritage Softail, my younger Millennial Siblings think it’s sick (apparently that’s means it’s good) Thank you for the great content! Regards from South Africa
I am 38 and am leaning towards one of these. I really wanted an Indian, but the Super Chief has fenders that are too short to be practical and only 3" of rear suspension travel (this has 5".). The Indian Springfield is the next closest equivalent, but is a few grand more pricey and only comes with hard bags and my preference is for soft. Now i have to wait for a year where they make it in white again, not all these burgundies and reds. lol. But yeah; this bike looks like a solid choice for eating up the miles in comfort on highway or on back roads.
People like the Heritage because its a cross between a Fatboy and a cruiser. So you get the bags for storage, and a windshield but it still looks close to a Fatboy. I prefer a big back tire cruiser stripped down, no windshield, no bags, no chin spoiler, no flairs, no angle guards, just 2 big tires and a big motor, and a set of loud pipes.
i just boughta 2002 heritage yesterday w/20k mi. retired and want to do some riding again. used to have a 1980 flh shovel which was nice but the more modern bikes with belts and a smoother motor are very good. very clean well kept bike but i'm gonna change all the fluids and new battry. good price too,
Well im 33 . Dont know if that makes me a millennial. Also don't know much about bikes but i saw this heritage and wow! I think it of all bikes this makes you look good. Like the wide grip.
You’ll love how balanced the bike feels. I’ve considered trading mine over the past few years for a breakout and more recently a fat boy. But after the test rides, my heritage felt like a old comfy pair of gears and decided to keep my heritage
I put the fatboy wheels on my Heritage because Harley spoke wheels spokes come loose. I never ever had to adjust spokes on my metric bikes lol. I still love my Heritage it is so comfortable like sitting in my recliner.
I don't think millennials would buy or ride this it looks like an old guy bike. I have an '08 heritage classic I love it but it took a bit to get use to the bags and windshield weren't my thing but I love it!!! Converting it to a vicla as we speak!!!😵😵💪
Yep those are Fatboy wheels and if you live and ride long enough gravity will prevail and your bag will sag...at 70 years young me and my 2000 FLSTC are still on the road.
Hey guys question, I’m trying to get my first Harley. Issue is I just got back from a deployment. And like an idiot I financed a ninja 636 it was a left over 2018. I owe 8000. But obviously dealers won’t give me that for it. Where can I sell it to just break even. Because I want a Harley but I don’t want negative equity. I tried bookoo and Craigslist already no luck
Are these millennial/harley videos a joke? Haven't you heard about millennials and there love for harleys........they dont and are supposedly one of the reasons harley is doing so poor lately.
Perhaps its a marketing groupthink trick that SRKcycles are trying to pull on millennials. "Well millennials love the heritage softail. I'm a millennial, therefore I'll be left out if I dont love it too!"
Its not so much that they 'hate' Harley, its that they love them, they don't really see the reasoning behind going into a dealership and purchasing a brand new motorcycle, when essentially the same models of Harley's have been on the used market, usually quite well taken care of (ie: Garage Queens), for less than half the prices that you could get a new one from a dealer. Only benefit to a dealer and new bike? Warranty. Benefit to purchasing used? Price point, insurance break (in a lot of cases new bikes get nailed with a 'new vehicle' tax/fee of sorts, at least where I'm from) and also? If something breaks, parts are usually readily available for Harley's throughout the years and there's such a resource on youtube for 'general repair' for Harley's that a lot of people fix basic things themselves anymore. That's all. :) If the insurance wasn't so bonkers (where I live, once again >_< ) I'd go for a fatboy or a heritage soft tail of some sort myself! Used, of course.
They may know what they are, but since they're unemployed living in their parents basement I doubt they even have a drivers license let alone a MC endorsement, Plus they're "SCARY".
@@parsivalshorse maybe not on softails, but I’ve seen them on a lot on dynas. If you look hard enough, you’ll see ‘em. The rest, let’s just say they’re missing out on an amazing experience!

Are you sporting the factory seat?
Great videos . Where are you located at .
Love those wheels...
Loving the videos!
How do I sign up for the mailing list?
Amen bro
Live the videos and reviews keep up the great work
Nice looking bike. Do these still shake and vibrate like crazy or are they smoother like the touring Harleys?
Mine dont shake at all
Just be sure you swap out the handgrips. The factory grips will hurt after a while

Travis Morse just take off the bags and shield
Really nice color
Meh im a young wiper snapper but I dont like the heritage because of the huge fenders. I like me a 90s softail custom

Will never happen. You got to take the hit like a man. At least you’ll be a wiser man after learning to always buy American 🤗
Love the bible quotes and your vidoes. Just bought a heritage softail. I love it !
Dynas...
Anyone else own a Harley Heritage Softail Firefighter Edition?
Dynas RIP.
Phil O I will own my Dyna Wide Glide till the day I die. GOD willing. My next bike will be a Road King. GOD willing.
I love it when you read bible verses just as much as when you review these motorcycles. Keep up the good work!
Almost went with the Heritage. Im called a millenial i guess. Bought a Road King Special instead 🤘
Are these millennial/harley videos a joke? Haven't you heard about millennials and there love for harleys........they dont and are supposedly one of the reasons harley is doing so poor lately.
SPNFENDER i think harley's problem is their inability to evolve

I'm a millennial I love my herritage softail. She's sexy
Same engine in my Deuce
Your poop has an engine?
But, I thought HD was catering to them with the new bikes!?!??...
I like those fat boy wheels better on that bike also. Your heritage and standard softails can be converted to fat boys easily.
Amen!
00:06 don't pull a muscle
So are softails...
Frank was my Grandpa... so hi Grandpa ;)
Would you ship to Illinois stl area
absolutely
Yes either up the Mississippi or Lake Michigan. What side of IL do you live nearest to?
Millennials know what motorcycles are?
Lol
H.E. Pennypacker bro all us aren't the same I'm 23 I roll on a 14 herritage
They may know what they are, but since they're unemployed living in their parents basement I doubt they even have a drivers license let alone a MC endorsement, Plus they're "SCARY".
Gen z are the ones born in the 90 right lol. I have 4 and three are awesome the other games and weed and not a worker lol
H.E. Pennypacker I’m sure they have seen them on Facebook or played with them on their video games
Yes they do, they just can’t drive a non-automatic transmission
This dude contradicts himself video to video
Millenials aren't buying Harley's, this is just wishful thinking.
They’re buying mopeds
Just bought ‘08 heritage classic tonight. Trust me, we are out there.
@@BellHellAirsoft Sure, they exist. But not on sufficient number numbers.
