Is New England Rustic fried chicken? Not to my knowledge. Nans does have great reviews. It is very hard to find really good food easily. Most is mediocre ,overpriced, slop. I could go for some fried chicken now. We live in Maine and its a food desert in my opinion. The economy supports cheap food,like chains. Tourist restaurants with tourist prices predominate along the coast. You are very likely to get cold canned chowder there at a high price. Rubbery cold seafood. We got comped 3 meals last summer at a place by the sea. The food was frankly awful. The bill for 3 would have been $150 or so. We had no appetizers,no drinks but canned soda. No desert. Families on vaca were there. Their bill must have been huge.

I'd just have my fried chicken plain not into hot and spicy so this place wouldn't be for me, not really into big time pig time
