Hey man I’m glad your changing your style, I recently started carving and used your $40 bear as kind of a template, ppl loved them but I wasn’t happy, felt I could do better and have been expanding and using other inspiration like yourself and Ryan cook. Keep up the good work man
Hey Eric, congratulations and nice one for getting married. Great to see you back. This carving really shows how you have progressed. It’s amazing. Thanks for video. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Congrats on the 8 thousand , I was in just over a 1000. I'm in Alberta, a cancer survivor, and a new Carver. I Found your previous videos after my 1st Carving, which I did without looking at any RUclips's. It was a Northern Pike, very basic yet as gotten many compliments this summer at the cabin. I can't wait for your next video to see what I am Lacking in tools ( Which is most) . What I realizing is the eyes really help to make it . Mine look scary on my rendition of your old bear version lol. Gotta start somewhere.....I just wish I had larger wood !
Been watching from the very beginning...absolutely love the videos. Will have to try one of these. Thank you for making these videos for us that want to learn!!
Good to see ya back missed your carving! It's been to dang hot here in Washington after a long day of work to justify getting all the carving stuff out... But! But it did rain today ( our normal weather) almost inspired me to do something... Hahaha keep up the videos!!!
Love your channel. You do great work. I'm new to chainsaw carving. I have carved one Gnome. Lots of dremel carving. I wonder if you could do a slow step by step video doing one cut then explain and then another cut and such. Something I could follow with chainsaw in hand and do each cut after you do it. Any thoughts? Thanks again for your channel.
Eric bear looks awesome. You got me carving dude, selling them too and I’m not half as good as you. I can’t wait for tool video. I bought a finger sander that is Trash dies every time you put a little pressure and please throw something in there about you were grinding disks or it looks like you use a backing pad, I use a cheap one from Harbor freight it breaks about every two carvings can’t wait to see your video, also how about time frame do you let a carving dry before painting or do you go right into painting and sealing, your my only Tudor!!!!
Looks great... I noticed you painted the eyes black and then put in some white touches.....but went back to full black!!! What is your reasoning on that?
Erick, I've been following your videos for more than a year. But I have a question for you, what do you use or what is the name of the material you use? to protect the piece of wood, and how many times do you have to apply it in the dough to seal the piece well ... I started working a year ago with the wooden bears. The materials in the workshop where I work change a lot. They confuse me. which is the sealant and the one that makes the piece shine. and how many quantities have to be mixed for a good result. thank you my friend. Saludos desde COLORADO
You are very entertaining to watch with good tips as well. Hope you and your bride are doing well.

Tools would be sweet! I've been wanting to do more carving, but my chainsaw takes me forever to make one awful cut
