  • Look, Mum! Soviet Computer!
A look at tens of Soviet computer boards from the '60s/'70s found in a e-waste dumpster. All germanium diode & transistor logic, nicely hand-routed single layer boards, way looser than those in the Soemtron, easy to follow... with some interesting twists too.
The modules might come from early generation of the ES EVM "Ryad" a.k.a. "Unified Series" mainframe computers, based on reverse-engineered IBM System/360. It's worth noting that apart from components from all over the Eastern Bloc (e.g. GDR transistors and capacitors, Polish capacitors), Western capacitors and semiconductors are there too.
RFC ‪@ChernobylFamily‬ - any info on these?

aaale mi przypomniałaś dzieciństwo ^_^ Któryś radziecki telewizor miał taką płytkę, ale to było ponad 30 lat temu.
    Bardzo wspaniała kolekcja.

Love the nail color my Dear! I love old circuit boards and gadgets. I need to get back to my Arduino but they changed my work schedule: i have been way to busy. However i have been working on my podcast system and am only missing one audio cable which i will pick up this weekend. I would love to interview you at some point.

This is not USSR made but definitely with USSR components. Most likely one of Warsaw block country like DDR or Czechoslovakia, Hungary.

Soviet components nearly always had date codes, what are the date codes on the transistors?

No doubt the connectors were removed for the gold content. I wonder if these were for something simpler than a computer? Like a controller for something. Not sure. Fascinating stuff though.

THIS IS NOT USSR BOARDS! period. Looks like DDR, CHEKOSLOVAKIA, POLAND or something near.

Ktoś odzyskał już wcześniej - znalazłam bez złącz. Prawdopodobnie pójdą na odzysk tranzystorów germanowych, i chyba wyślę jedną albo dwie Frani :)

@@KeritechElectronics złącza pewnie podobne do polskich eltra szpilek złoconych. Trochę chyba pakietów było w tym kompie. Szkoda ze nie na logisterach ale budowano na pieszo bramko logiczne. Fajne znalezisko.
