- Learn about the ideal hybrid inverter to help protect your home's power supply when the grid goes down. It allows you to save on energy costs with utility time of use functionality, as well as demand charge optimization. The Schneider Electric XW Pro solar hybrid inverter connects the solar on your roof to backup energy storage, so that you can have security and peace of mind when the power goes out. It can even be used for backup power systems without using solar.

Many thanks to Eric Bentsen and Schneider Electric.

My preference for integrating a generator would be through a charge controller on the DC side of the inverters, This would allow any sized generator to be integrated & run at any time, as a way to extend battery capacity. EG4 makes an AC to DC converter that allows tuning the DC charge rate to match the generator capacity.
Thanks from Costa Rica😎
Ooo nice, love Costa Rica!
very encouraging system
Thanks from India
Thanks for watching!
Nice unit. I see one in our future after we get settled in. I’m curious how this might help with brown out conditions? Will it keep our transformer from exploding lol.
Sucks, didn't get all the parts I ordered and no response. Project is set back two weeks. My 4 year old nephew has a better counting and project management skills than these people. Platt is amazing to work with!!!
Thanks for the vid, altE. Ugh, still a crappy product that can't compete the the Tesla PW. Wish there were more competition (Franklin WH US distro is overpriced). This is an ugly solution with poor FW control. Battery + 480.7(D) DC disconnect + XW Pro + PDP + 706.7 AC Disconnect + Backed Up Panel + BCS. Still, I think it's the only viable non-Tesla ESS but total solution is still overpriced (compared to PW). I can't make a value proposition to any customer with Sol-Ark - way overpriced. Growatt or EG4 has spotty reliability and can't get past AHJ permitting in most places.
What is FW control ? thanks
Skyping too much
