After a weekend of racing Day in the Dirt, I headed over to PAX TRAX in Bunnell, FL to burn some laps on everyone's favorite dirt bike: the Marketplace YZ250.
I've ridden here a few times before, but I was extra excited this time because I actually had the proper tools for the job: a set of mid-soft tires and a new silencer that wasn't falling apart. The difference was unbelievable and I think it comes across in the GoPro
I was hesitant to post my last raw GoPro POV, but was happily surprised by the amount of people who enjoyed it. Hopefully you like this one just the same :)

Had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago so its good to see some Jay content to inspire me to get back at it when i can!
Past few years been rough with it hopefully when i heal up i can finally get my MX journey started too.. Probably never gonna be as good as a guy like you starting at 32 but gonna give it my best shot haha!

@jaydalton no shame there man! Remember my first time riding against a pro. Was the fastest by far in my district and had a pretty big head....which was deflated after one lap by a mid pack pro rider. But ya have some skill riding, most people just don't understand how fast pro level riders are.
Bro respect for keeping the 2 strokes alive. Passing that 450 was beautiful. This was some great riding

Hey Jay, its nice to see how much fun you have on the bike in your video's. I was wondering are you doing also physical training? Are is it Just by riding so much that your physics is good?
I'm usually riding so much that I don't have the energy for the gym, but I always try to maintain a consistent stretching routine.
Jay is shredding that yz i also wanna ride so bad but im waiting for my new knee braces and roost deflector to be delivered and where I ride there is a lot of water that I am waiting for to disappear

Hey man love the content!! As a motocross rider, one thing I noticed you can improve your technique on is focusing on squeezing the bike with your legs/knees like you have to take a gnarly piss😂 you’ll have way more control on the ground and in the air🔥trust me you’ll feel a difference 🤘🏻

Thank God or whoever for those nice deep ruts in the berms and overall nice riding surface by the looks of the track or may have slid out a few times as were moving coming into them. Your riding has definitely improved my only suggestion is to wear a neck brace and full chest-protector. Imagine if you didn't ride one or the other and just focused all your time and energy into just the one, BMX or Dirtbike stunt'n.
love the motorized dirt vehicle content jay, i miss the yellow yz125 from the woodward days, ever considered picking up another 125? stretching jumps wide open constantly is simply more fun to watch but i understand the need for the 2fatty
The 125 was fun while it lasted but it kind of lost its novelty to me after so long. Felt like a slow noisemaker, haha. As I start riding the 250 harder hopefully it will fill the void for you
@@jaydalton totally get that, i just love how much movement there is on a 125 in order to try and make it go fast lol, racing 125s was the most fun for me personally.

This sport looks quite fascinating. Are you a pro racer? It is very interesting to me how you float the cycle through the air with grand precision. And what a show you put on in the corners. Hats off to you son and mucho respect. You undoubtedly going to be a star someday.

The Yamaha engineers only hit the face plant button twice Jay, they're not as brutal as the Honda engineers. Nice riding. Definitely fast.

Fellow bros, I have a problem. I’m in the market for a new bike. I just sold my 450RWE. I’m thinking about a 250f just for the fact I’m older and can get more laps in at a time. But, I’m a solid guy, 215 without gear. Thinking about maybe a 250 2 banger but never really rode 2 strokes so don’t know if I would like it or could ride it as well. Any tips or thoughts gents? Other than the typical, 2 strokes are cool. I’m not gonna be racing as much anymore. Maybe a few here and there.
You'll have fun on either 250. Coming from a 450 you'll be able to ride them way harder and both 2s/4s will have the power to pull you around

Dude, if you're going to absolutely haul the mail like that, could you at least fix up that clapped out smoker??? Between the missing bolts, the wired together chasis and the clapped out plastics I'm terrified to watch.
