Kumaonis have also defeated an imperial army of Mughals and killed Akbar's Governor Hussain Khan 'the patcher' known for his hate for Hindus

@@gandaberunda6267 thank you , can you recommend authentic book on atrocities and cruelties perperterated by Turks upto third battle of Panipat. These invadors never succeeded in Himalaya from Kashmir to asam. In Kashmir they took 7 centuries to wipe out natives.

@@rajbhardwaj598 Looks like history revisionism seems to be a common thing in India and it's pathetic. The first Muslim dynasty which ruled Kashmir was the Shah Miris who were established in the 13th century. From then on until the conquest by Mughals in 1590 and eventual conquest by Sikhs against Afghans and capture of Kashmir in year 1819, the "natives" which you seem to strangely call them were never in any danger.
