I dont get it why everyone use poisen imbunent with penshot. Seeing 100-300 piosen ticks on enemys which needs around 10k to get killed. If needed some more singetarget dmg, use rapid fire. And with cold imbuement for more CC,so less running around mobs and use more your main skill. Use the heart that cast a shadow clone (best is death trap /shortest cooldown). let pull them together and they're gone with the shadow imbument.
Does you helmet proc the explodey ring? If not then you have no Subterfuge so we could trade Shadow Step for Concealment or change the gem outta the ring.
Penetraing shot has 50 % lucky strike ... combo points adds +30% lucky strike chance so 80 % lucky strike on glove 10 % minimum ++ .. get passive that reduce trap cooldown when lucky hit ...add basic penshot split aspect.... Poison trap with decoy ,, death trap at least 5 ... once death trap activated .. shoot ur 3 combo points penshot right as it vaccums... profit from insta recharge deathtrap ... prolly cast 5-6 death traps in a 15 second big pull .. only pen shot aspect needed for combo to work . new aspect that stuns enemies when 5 are active is really good as u shadow step in and begin the combo for every pull prolly works until really high nightmare tier or able to finish it . malignant , Decoy , 20 % core for 200 hp heart as well . variants ... penitent greeves... use Malignant that drops cluster bombs on lucky .. use aspect that freezes enemy hit by grenade and grants 25 % crit dmg to freeze ..... so a death trap infinite combo with freeze dmg ++ , simply shooting an enemy if their chasing while on chill floor effect will freeze them with the grenades dropping of the malignant heart ... it's a hellotta AOE . maybe add in barber for overkill .
The build I’m running is still growing, using poison trap instead of dash but very similar. Only just got into wt3 but only thing it misses is single target damage with bosses I feel. See how I go once I get aspects more sorted
cool looking build! I decided to try rogue for this season too and I went with twisting blades which I'm having a blast leveling with (just reached level 50). Maybe I'll try out some bow action when I respec in the endgame.

I also got 5 points into puncture and trying the new aspect where it gets poison imbued and it honestly does a lot of damage by itself, and I haven't yet gotten the massive boost to basic skill damage that one of the paragon boards give, with 70% from just a single are node. I am actually considering a using the close quarter combat key passive(dash can proc it) and using preparation and stacking attack speed to burn through energy to reset either shadow clone or death trap. I also want to get the imbuement heart for this so I can free up skills and instead run something like shadowstep, dash and poison trap or concealment.
Ill probs get some crap, but ive gone back to POE already. I bought d4 early, paid 100 bucks, and i just dont like it..... not saying it isnt for someone else, just not for me
I used Pestilent Points while leveling but moving into the endgame it doesn't feel worth using as there are plenty of other ways to get Poison Imbue resets.
this playstyle looks way slower than TB or flurry/rapid fire.. granted if you're getting carpel tunnel from TB like me, it seems appealing, which is why I'm here, but pen shot looks much weaker than both other builds. I'm not seeing it...

I've been debating swapping Precision out for Exposure and dropping either Dash or Shadow Imbue for Poison Trap or Death Trap.

Cold heavily incentivizes multiple hits. I'd go Rapid Fire or Barrage if you're planning on cold.

I found the puncture aspect to be excellent while leveling but it felt far less impactful later (especially after getting a Condemnation).
How is pen shot after level 50?

I'm with you there. Can't wait for POE2. D4 has great graphics/gameplay but seriously lacking in variety and the endgame is extremely generic IMO.

Not really, you want as many hits as possible with cold.

I tried rogue but to be honest rogue is way more overestimated. You can do all things with just bone spear.
I played it because I thought people would play Druid but I see way more rogues. Makes me want to play a different class.
