I haven't tried twisting blades builds at all. When D4 was close to coming out, I already knew my first and only character for a long time was going to be a barrage rogue. That's what I started with, and I haven't looked back. Barrage is way too much fun, it feels and flows brilliantly.
Thanks for the fresh video bro, I'm just changing my build of blades to barrage, I hope I like it :3 the only question is why the aspect for dark shroud is in your chest and not in the amulet? wouldn't it be better to swap them? it would also be nice to update the link to the build under the video! Thank you
Ah I was using that lucky proc aspect. Didn't realize it was proccing on puncture because I couldn't see the effect clearly. Swapped recently to the lucky hit arrow storm aspect and it's also proccing on puncture. Hm..
Seems like every rogue build needs shadow imbue for the AoE dmg and I'm kind of over it. Been meaning to switch to some cold set up but I feel like without any shadow the AoE will be so bad, even with Barrage? Also found a pair of Frosties but not sure if those gloves are any good in D4
I'm trying a rapid fire/flurry build. I'm not sure if that's meta or not as I'm just a casual player but I don't like the idea of doing what everyone else is doing. I have: Forceful arrow > Enh. FA> Fund. FA Flurry > Enh. FL > Imp. FL Rapid fire > Enh. RF > Imp. RF (I think) Caltrops > Enh. Cal. > Methodical Cal. Concealment > Enh. Con. > Subv. Con. Shadow Imb > Enh. S-Imb > Blended S-Imb Passives: (If I remember correctly) Sturdy Concussive Weapon Mastery Agile Mending obscurity Exploit Malice(?) Shadow crash Consuming shadows Frigid finesse (caltrops deal cold damage) Chilling weight (caltrops deal cold damage) I think that's it. I'm only level 30 or 31. Is there a better way to run this build? A way to optimize it I guess?
Yeah same here. I come from barb so I actually want to do a build that will use all my weapons. This or rapid/flurry might be the ones I end up with. TB is extremely good but boring imo
Gg ! Really nice vid !! Do you think a « standalone » barrage build is possible ? Without any generator ? Really want to try something like the Lone Rapid Fire build but with Barrage but don’t know how to do it … Thanks for the good job ! 👌🏻
@@dyattz As @johnh5909 noted about barber going with RF, as many have noted it also swallows other nearby players attacks, etc. which can completely screw up their builds so if you do any group stuff, world bosses, etc. people around you may very well hate you.
Just wanted to say this build is awesome. I really don't like twisting blades and rapid feels clunky. I was getting murdered in t4 with my 60 but with this build I'm wrecking it.
I actually don’t believe Icy Alchemist is bugged. Vile Apothecary applies to all attacks, meaning your puncture is also able to apply all imbuements, triggering Icy Alchemist. I might be wrong ofc, but that’s my interpretation.
@@Milkybk_ I just tried it out, and I can see what you mean. It feels awesome though. Seems to be the same case with the Bursting Venoms aspect, it also triggers constantly despite a low lucky hit chance.
@@Milkybk_ Yea Xarrio does a ton of game mechanic deep dives and it seems like it's not a bug, just short sighted game design again by Blizzard. It seems like they tried balancing the rogue imbue abilities via the low frequency of lucky hits and how many of a rogues attacks can be imbued (Puncture is otherwise un-imbueable of course) but then introduced too many ways to imbue too many attacks and other OP stuff that procs off said poison which becomes broken at high proc rates. Between Penitent Greaves, Pestilent Points, Vile Apoc, Bursting Venom, the Trickery taunt you can get to auto proc by simply dashing via Quickening Fog (and stack your own poison traps on top of), there's a number of skill combos you can build crazy strong "imbue" builds around (I don't think anyone's ever confirmed whether each arrow of barrage is incorrectly getting calculated as a separate attack by some mechanics when it shouldn't be which would make them 100% too strong... PER ARROW).
I think they took away or fixed icy alchemist “bug” now… tested it with new patch and kinda feels like crap now. it was fun while it lasted. 😢 oh well… off to a new character then…
Just trying out all marksman skills - Rapid Fire and Pen Shot are still fine ❤
Nice build. I just cant decide between this and pen shot/RF and barrage/death trap 😀

Can't find the boots. Didn't find them after 85 levels pre season. Swapping to necro.

My pleasure mate
Nice video, I also don't wanna be a meta slave having to use TB because EVERYONE else is doing it
Going with a rapid fire build over here

I hate TB, there’s something about it I can’t get into at all tried it out of curiosity and swapped mid dungeon 😂
rapid fire user here too🎉 cheers🎉
Hello Milkybk_ ! Is this build viable in pvp? Can you show us some pvp footage if yes?

I think the only way to pull that off would be to do it with traps - dunno if that contradicts your barrage only dream though
@@Milkybk_ hmmm might try something ! Will come back here to tell you !
Thanks for the answer man
Can anyone answer this barrage or rapid fire? Which is better in the long run counting both single target and clear?
Honestly it's just a matter of if you mind having to be close some of the time or not. RF is more ranged and better ST
Barber + rapid fire
Or this
Depends which wrathfuls you have
Both have great ad clear and decent dps
I went from struggling in t4 as a lvl 60 to murdering everything with this build
@@dyattz As @johnh5909 noted about barber going with RF, as many have noted it also swallows other nearby players attacks, etc. which can completely screw up their builds so if you do any group stuff, world bosses, etc. people around you may very well hate you.
You can cancel rapid fire with a dodge and do another attack while the rf is still unloading.

What the best and most fun build out of all the ranged builds you have ran?
The barber rapid fire was probably my favourite to farm with
Haven't seen a barrage rogue uber lilith kill. Think it's possible?
Ooooo probably really tricky, winnable though I think might give it a shot

This was my first thought, but it feels like it happens far too frequently

The bug for puncture?
Man I’m doing 53 dungeons on easy mode level 82 so your build is viable but not strong
💪🔥👍
Ahhh I was interested until you said “this is probably a bug” 😖 cool video regardless though!
Not sure its a bug. Vile imbues all dmg right
The build functions fine without it, and icy alchemist could still be a great choice even if it wasnt bugged
Hi i have a similar build ! Check the planner its different than the video.
