Waw! Thank you so much for sharing! I am making so many connections with my breathwork trainings and how it is helping me as a professional dancer. I Strongly suggest everyone looks more into incorporating breathwork before and after training and performing, as well as learning to use the breath properly while. It is so powerful
Great Video... Love to know what the Heart rate % of max are during the EPOC process. For instance how long would it take to recover to resting HR after an 80% of max hr, 3 hr bike ride... Would love to see a time line of the EPOC with an HR time line to conclusion that being Resting heart rate....
This is an excellent explanation but, still I struggle! My suunto watch gives an EPOC number but, what does that number mean in terms of how I did and should do in future? Do I aim to increase my EPOC number, reduce it, or should it be used relative to other metrics? Struggling!
Thanks for the video. it was really helpful. Please let me help to understand one point. According to the graph, O2 deficit/requirement is only depending on the time from the beginning of the exercise to reaching steady state O2 consumption. Therefore, to give an example, EPOC for 1 hour marathon pace running is equal to 2 or 3 hours of marathon pace running because the duration in the stage of steady O2 consumption does not matter. Is this assumption correct? what do other variables affect your EPOC for 1 versus 2 or 3 hours marathon pace running?
idk why you have so small amount of views, im really grateful with your videos. thanks A LOT
Amazing content, thank you so much! Making EPOC really easy to understand.

When you split the EPOC graph, shouldn’t it be down the y axis? (as the stage of EPOC is dependant on time)
