Lots of variety for you!! As well as MVs, try Shinee live performances too - Shinee are famous for their live performances. Any performances from Shinee World Concert 4 and 5 are basically legendary, amazing performances, insane live vocals and so extra and dramatic haha (and great quality videos all on yt). I especially recommend Ring Ding Dong+Lucifer from SWC5 and Sherlock from SWC4. Personal faves also Excuse Me Miss from SWC4, and Why So Serious from SWC5. Some people in the comments also recommended the Deep Dive to Shinee guide video, its a big undertaking but well worth it if you want more detail on the group, their work and impacts, and the members personalities etc. It's really great, but a chunky video. Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. It has been a long time since i saw a guide. So this was nice. My 1st watch to this guide. Yes it was Taemin playing the piano. He is good. Check out The Feeling by Shinee. There is a MV. =0] Onew had throat surgery and the opera song was the 1st time he sang after that surgery. The surgery was really complicated and Onew feared he would never sing again. So i get the tears. Because u feel him. Check out his song Circles MV it's my fav by him. Taemin was the 1st to release a solo. So the other guys on purpose for fun and in support made their album names match. Taemin was not aware they would do this. Cute. Haha ur funny. They all have insane vocals. SM is known for good /great vocalists. IU is a huge fan of Onew. I am a Taemin bias Key wrecker gal. I recently learned that Key can learn the choreo in minutes and teaches it to the others. 0.0 Taemin is the main dancer but this fact blew me away. Just wow. Key can see a chorewo and replicate it after 1 view. Taemin has acted as well. He was also in competitions as a judge or advisor. When all his members were enlisted he debuted in another group SuperM. Taemin did 2 yrs in military. He was doing civil service because he had mental health issues and the army transferred him. Guilty shows his trauma in the video. Taemin has always had mental health issues since trainee days. He is very much against idols debuting as young as him. Jk of BTS who debuted at 14yo too is opposed to this as well. And the companies are slowly debuting older idols. It's a slow change. Taemin was interviews on Suchwita by Suga of BTS last year. It's a drinking show on here. U can watch for free. This was during Guilty his 1st comeback after military. Taemin solo concert still has us screaming. Actually there are a few things this guide doesn't really explain very well or gets wrong. For instance, although when SHINee debuted Jonghyun was the only MAIN vocalist, since then SHINee has become the one group in the industry that is widely recognized for the fact that the members no longer have any fixed roles in the group. All 5 members are main vocalists, they all can rap, and they all are top dancers. (Literally no one has the word lead in their positions anymore, SHINee is full of only main everything.) Onew and Jonghyun are considered two of the BEST vocalists in the entire industry -- they are the vocalists that most vocal coaches now use as an example of what you need to try and emulate in order to be a great singer. EVERYONE covets a chance to get to sing with Onew because he has one of the most agile and perfect voices. Onew was one of only two people to ever be selected by Lee SooMan, the founder of SM Entertainment, himself and he was chosen at age 16/17 because he had such outstanding vocal abilities. Even as a rookie, Onew and Jonghyun were often vocal coaches and mentors to a lot of trainees. Since this guide was created, Minho had his solo debut in 2022 with his album Chase, which completed the fact that all the SHINee members solo album titles rhyme -- Taemin Ace, Jonghyun Base, Key Face, Onew Voice and Minho Chase. SHINee became the first SM group to have all its members debut solo. Minho is also about to release his second solo album Call Back on Nov. 4. If you really want to get to know SHINee, I recommend checking out "A Deep Dive into SHINee -- Get to Know the Princes of Kpop" this guide is much more thero and accurate.

Therefore, because Jonghyun was literally one of of the best vocalists of his generation, that automatically made him the main vocalist, which meant all other members were given the lead or sub position. But it wasn't long after debut that everyone realized that SHINee had superior abilities in all facets of the industry, so their position titles were reevaluated. I mean they were the group that all other artists would rush to the stage to watch when they were doing dry-rehearsals on music shows. Before SHINee no one thought it was possible to perform intense choreography like them and still maintain perfectly stable vocals while singing live. At that time artists either had crazy, cool choreography and lip synced to their pre recorded vocals or they had simple choreography and sang live. It was SHINee who proved it was possible to do both. The members of SHINee are so bad at lip syncing that they specifically trained since debut to build endurance and stamina, so they are able to sing live for hours while performing full out and sound even better than their CD versions. They upped the standard for what live performances should be like. They are now considered the standard for live stages and they are still one of the absolute best live performances you will ever see. SHINee is the group that pretty much all other idols cite as one of their biggest influences and the reason why they wanted to become a singer and/or dancer. They have that much influence even still today.

This guide is nice but it's INSANLY outdated, SHINee are workaholics, so a guide becomes somewhat outdated about 2 minutes after it's uploaded, so a guide from 3 years ago might as well be from last century...
@avalii the best and most up to date guide we have (and even that one is outdated...) is the one that was released for their 2022 anniversary. It's very long and still only touches the tip of the iceberg, but it's much more comprehensive than this one. I saw someone else mentioning it in the comments..
I totally understand that this guide is not the best one. but I will get to know more about SHINee once I start to watch all of the content: MVs, live performances, albums, maybe some shows if they have one so, I will eventually know more and more about them, don't worry

About superM Taemin jokes that he got the part coz hyungs were not around 😂. All of them were enlisted in military when superM happened.
Since this guide all of them realeased multiple albums. Minho's second album (first full album), titled Call Back, will be released on November 4th.
