This would be an interesting idea, you'd start overhealing enemies and when they get to 150% HP they explode, which would be punishing if you don't manage to stick the "healing" beam to the enemy for long enough because it would give the enemies a buff, it would also be hard to use it when other teammates are damaging the enemy, basically negating your overheal and you couldn't get to make them explode.
It's like if the medigun normally heals by jacking up your body's natural regenerative properties to exponential levels, then this is clocking it up even more to the point that you immediately get instant terminal cancer instead

I've played for over 50 hours as Medic, there are some players who wouldn't stand still when I try to shoot with the Crusader's Crossbow I always wished the Medick Gun was an official item, I'd go on to commit literal atrocities with my own team who can't fucking stand still (There was a time I cost my team a win from a very heated match, the Soldier I pocketed was a complete dickhead to me, I afk'd in spawn so we lost and I left to avoid that Soldier directing his anger on me)

The idea of a life draining medigun could actually be really useful. THE INEQUIVALENT EXCHANGER - Needs to steal health from enemies to heal teammates - A max of 2500 HP can be stolen, extra stolen health heals the medic (no overheal). - Will drain the health of disguised spies
While definitely not this, I'd actually like the idea of a medigun that deals damage to enemies instead of healing teammates. Sure it would go against what the medic is made for, but it would be fun as hell to do.
It's a pretty nice concept, like, cmon, even Demo can fully went melee Demoknight without any explosive devices, and nobody said that's strange. So why Medic can't transform into a proper Battle Medic, dealing damage to enemies and supporting his team with powerful weapon?

Solution to make this balanced: acts As the basic medi gun but if "e" is pressed over 200 times throughout the game (non ctf) it gains a second Uber meter that is charged every 200 "MEDIC!" 's. It causes a massive explosion that pushes all people, both teammates and enemies, that also deals 80% of their health. They typically die to fall damage anyways.
