I was driving this car for month in convertible and sound was not so amazing was good but not as juicy as this one How did you recorded where microphone was positioned is it normal exhaust or sport version or any after market .... the one which I had occasion to drive was full stock with normal exhaust and was not singing so nicely even with the top down
There are differences in sound between the coupe version, the convertible and the normal sedan version. The coupe is the loudest, then comes the convertible and the quietest is the regular one. I don't know why there is a difference when the exhaust is the same, but i know it is as i said.

So you mean that the older 7G does not sound as good? So if you want sportier sound you should get 9G over the old 7G? My friend is thinking about buying thats why i ask so much :)
the transmission does not matter. at the new s-class coupe, the Exhaust sound ist sporty, loud! The sound of the predecessor, the CL500 - was more in the background. not so loud.

Das Auto ist ein Traum. Sieht sehr gut aus und fährt sich ausgezeichnet. Sehr gut isoliert. S-Klasse halt. Den Sound hört man aber trotzdem sehr deutlich im Innenraum beim Beschleunigen. Der Sound ist natürlich nicht so wie beim S63. Aber sehr sehr gut und passend zum Auto.
Habe mal einen S500 Coupé besessen und einen S63 Coupé mal probegefahren von Kollegen. S63 viel viel aggressiver in der Beschleunigung aber Sound finde ich vom 500er viel schöner einfach nur perfekt für das Auto. Vorallem der Klang beim anfahren jedes Mal an der Ampel ein Genuss 🤤 S500 Coupé als 4 matic wie ich ihn hatte absolut empfehlenswert allerdings nicht wenn du einen Sportwagen erwartest. Er gut zwischen Sport und comfort ausgelegt allerdings hab ich das Gefühl gehabt dass der S500 erst ab 150 so richtig schnell wurde. Bei niedrigeren Geschwindigkeiten ist er nicht sonderlich schnell. Aber darum gehts bei dem Wagen auch garnicht. Es macht einfach Spaß mit ihm durch die Gegend zu cruisen. Und wenn man mal eine längere Strecke fährt ist man traurig dass man schon beim Ziel angekommen ist und aussteigen muss… dieses Gefühl hatte ich bis jetzt auch nur beim S Coupé. Kurzgefasst ein fahrendes luxuriöses Wohnzimmer, dass auch noch unglaublich schön aussieht. 👍👍

It´s the New 9G-Tronic. The sound is soooo much better than the old CL500.
