honestly i think the knowledge of the multiverse would brake betty infinite universes means infinite monsters and bettys soul purpose is to destroy all monsters but she cant kill an infinite amount so shes basically just been told that she has no purpose anymore nad everything she ever strived for is immposible
also betty doesn't have to move to use some of her abilities she can do the illusions and feer stuff just by looking at you realistically in this senero a xtale chara with no knowledge of betty would get put in a fear illusion (he has a lot of fears and trauma) causing him to drop betty due to being paralysed and no longer focussed and betty would take the opportunity to take his soul with kumu (this can be done in under a second and the illusions can paralyse someone for minutes so more than enough time) so realistically in this scenario due to not having knowledge of betty betty would have killed x chara also x tale chara can be hurt by a normal classic sans and betty stated she could level a city so she can splatter x chara across the room with 1 hit effectively killing him so that sythe hit should have killed him. and betty can take hits from sans who can keep up a beam struggle with her so would logically also be city level and so via being able to tank hits from him would also have city-level durability so x tale charas knives would have just bounced of betty in short, unless he imedetly uses overwrite to erase her or turn her into an alley he can't win this
