@@shaunmahlangu1673 1. There's an artist by the name Simamane from durban who just recently did his one man show and it was packed which is a big thing from a young artist.
2. Stogie T used to do freestyle Fridays on channel O which played a huge role for the culture as it showcased a lot of talents from underground and also was a part of The hustle vuzu which is clear that Stogie T is not only known for the bars but he also contributed in the game.
3. KO recently opened up his own Store in Rosebank and it's called " Swave" which is the biggest thing coming from a hip hop artist ever since the days of BoyznBuckz operating in Braam.
4. Aka's family recently opened up a Kiernan Forbes foundation that helps people who are in need and that's outside hip hop but understand that it's done by using the name of the biggest hip hop icon in South Ahh and it's a huge thing.
5. There's a guy by the name okayswishee that's pushing SA hip hop the hardest in the streets of Braam and Maboneg which also deserves a shout out for pushing the game more especially in the streets coz people are more focused on what's happening in the main stream meanwhile the real hip hop is in the streets.
Note that Everything I mentioned here it's not trending stuff or controversial but these are the things that actually matter in South African Hip hop.

Touch my blood is a classic, from the album cover to the performance of the tracks is top tier, allowing your fans to do your album cover to hiring a helicopter to drop the album one of the best rollout albums SA has had. sequencing of the album is amazing. A classic is not only from the music but also how you serve the music. i appreciate food being served in a clean environment rather than good food served in the less appealing place.

About the"Touch my blood" album, I think the reason why we didn't feel it that much when it dropped..is because AKA took very long to drop it, I remember I was still in high school that time and the nigga kept on changing the release dates yhoo..bro took a whole year promising he will drop but still nothing, so when he eventually dropped we didn't fuck with it that much, but im telling u later as the time when by that's when it started to kick in that ey this album is actually fire and it's a classic

No, he he always had the skill in this bag from his past journey building his street rep. The whole poet stigma was one of the reasons he changed his name to Stogie T. He has also been a rapper just delivering his rap in a poetic style.
