They sound so similar. Either library can give stunning results when in the right hands! Excellent comparison. Thank you

Excellent !!! loved LASS in this ...would you be able to share your session file for these two mockups?? would be great to analyse your mixing and use of CC express automation

Very nice job! Are you using only the reverbs that come with the samples? On LASS, are you using their Stage & Color settings?

I always go with LASS ever since I came across it - warmer and richer IMHO.

Both are gorgeous. 'My' sound preference is Hollywood strings.

Both have now in the highs that build up. Unfortunately, that's something you have to deal with in post.

If you do fast run on violas, LASS is going to fail hardcore)

AKoribut Havn't tried that yet. I agree however that every library has its downsides. That's why I like to mix them.

Myke Ross it is even hard to call it downsides. It seems like another joke on viola players)
By the way good video. I have LA Scoring Strings, there are some issues, but for its price (especially lite version) it is number one to me.
Issues: 1)For some reasons LASS can swallow some notes during fast passages. It is super weird but it happens, if you then transpose your passages semitone higher or lower everything is OK.
      2) Violas... attack of the lifetime) Superlong... You can't give anything fast to violas
      3) Cellos, Basses. Low register legato on chromatic passages, average tempo. Not smooth at all, one can play softer with a hammer
