This song is so bloody underrated. When you really listen to it, and I mean REALLY listen it is an absolute masterpiece! 9 years on I am still loving it.
Genius piece of music. I love the amazing sounds. Brilliantly crafted. It has so much depth and complexities that if you don't listen to it on a proper sound system then you are missing out on things to hear. Also, any chance this can get re-released with new mixes? Some progressive Trance remixes would be great.

Ear candy, I love the first minute of the song, lights up your brain. I think youve got to be intelliginet to really enjoy this type of music, or more so, creative, you need to have a creative side to let it bring out your emotions.

I envisioned an album whose tracks were arranged like first a TBU-like track, then a trance one, then one in an intermediate style like this track, and so on. Instead, we got These Hopeful Machines, a great album and everything, but I guess BT will never go back to the pinnacle TBU was...
I'm a little late but "light of the night" would be translated as "Lumières de la nuit". Also, there are two meanings of "nocturne" wether it's feminine or masculine. Here it is "Le", so masculine, so it means (according to wiki) : "Piece of music that is a soft and plaintive". Of light. :p (Nocturne as an adjective means "at night", and as a feminine noun means an event (whatever event it is) happening at night, like a "nocturne" in a museum means that the museum stay open after dusk)
@milsumla Mescaline, shrooms....nothing man made. LSD is way too harsh concidering what it was developed for. My favorite trips were always shrooms... 0_0
@milsumla For shrooms the easiest and most effective way is to boil them down and strain it good mixing it with something that has a good amount of Vit C in it. ;0)
