Of course when you've reached the top of the mountain it's easy to look down on vast landscapes.... but you first need to climb the fucking mountain....lol
Are you kidding me ???? You had me at the first bar !! --- and, then my jaw dropped and my eyes were "trans-fixed!!". I couldn't believe WHAT I was hearing!! I was hearing the phenomenal piano styling of Oscar Peterson!!! --- how could this be?? I never thought ANYBODY on this planet could EVER even come remotely close to the MASTER , Oscar Peterson!!! I just found you today, July 25 2019 and it was like Oscar is "alive and very well!! ". You have done what no other pianist today has done--- emulate perfectly what Oscar could do!. I'm in disbelief!!. Your "technique" is phenomenal and your independence between your left and right hand is "astonishing!!!". It must have taken you years to develope your independence and technique to this "degree" of proficiency!! Simply amazing!! I never thought it could be "possible"that anybody could "duplicate" the MASTER --- Oscar Peterson so "flawlessly". What a shear delight to hear your keyboard artistry!! Wish I could play one/one-hundreth as good as you!! You are one "astonishing" player!!! No nonsense to be found here!! Just the "REAL" thing!!!".I am gonna be listening from here on out!! Oscar would sit up and take notice--- who wouldn't????
I haven't found any sheet music for this unfortunately, but I made a Synthesia tutorial if you still want to learn it: ruclips.net/video/wejDKch6W8E/видео.html My playing is not nearly as good as Molina's, but all the notes are there!
It's all just patterns. Figure out the patterns by listening for the intervals in the right hand. The left hand is a basic but effective bass line. Figure out each hand separately, start putting them together slowly and gradually build up your tempo using a metronome.
“A little jazz exercise” my a-.. Jesus’ is so good, that ironically he doesn’t seem to know how challenge himself,l. He seemingly does everything with ease. Where do you go from there? Lol Maybe that’s why he seems happy to just be in the moment.
The photo right top is what he looks like today. From obese to movie star in a few short months. Doesn't even look anything like the original guy. Good for him and his image. He's always been an excellent pianist, fat or thin.
This is a cliche in some jazz circles, but you should check out Art Tatum if you haven't already. The guy who created the song that Jesus is playing, Oscar Peterson (also incredible), gave up piano for some time after hearing him. Art Tatum was arguably the best in this style of playing and some say best piano player in general, definitely worth a listen if you want to hear more superhuman playing
What a great lesson! Rhythmic, virtuosity, casual smile.... And what I love most, is that his whole body is moving, not just his hands!! Thanks for sharing!
I have listened to/watched this at least a couple dozen times now. Somehow he finds time to takes several peeks at the camera during this little exercise. If you were ever wondering what the definition of “gifted” was, look no further. Though I’m sure he has put in his time as well. Go Jesus. Stay happy.
Damn dude you look like you are in fast motion. But yeah you are so precise at this speed I'm super impressed. I've been playing piano for 25 years (I'm good too) but I'm nowhere near this. Are you even 25 years old? Jeez. Anyway, super impressed and humbled.
IN 2021 This young man is as good as Oscar Peterson maybe even better. People always hate on me when I say that but take the time to compare. Jesus studied Oscar his whole young life. I think he is the heir to the Peterson fortune.
Just imagine if Scott Joplin was teleported to the the future, but for only 1:10 seconds. This is the video he was forced to watch during that time. As soon as it was over, he was teleported back to like the mid 1910s. Like, what would happen? This would be especially interesting if he knew the date this video was published, pretty much a century after his time of fame. He would probably consider it a vision or something...
I literally yelled "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!" After coming home from a performance, I came home to a performance.
The beauty of this is that we have clear video in addition to the audio so accurate transcription is way easier. IF I can ever get off my ass and do it 😁
If you slow down the video, you can see he actually has 13 fingers
Sean Noonan lmfao shut up fool lol
😂
Sean Noonan 🤪you sir, are the winner. Pls accept your trophy 🏆 🤪🤪
I've calculated! Really 13! OMG!
Sean Noonan 😄😄😄😄😄
Very good title: "little jazz exercice" 😄😄 Eres un genio y tienes un don, Jesús.
It's the name of an Oscar Peterson tune. Very fitting
El don es por su trabajo duro y dedicación 😊
if this an exercise then I'd hate to see him actually play.
lol
This dude is a very strong person.. he can not only give music lessons but also how to loose weight. He had transformed. He is awesome.
He got a liposuction.
@@420Jelbaz Technically a bariatric surgery, but yes
That smile is priceless
I know. But I also felt it was pretty encouraging lol
I hate this guy! He makes it look so easy! :)
Igual yo

@@adrianguev1294 Yeah. I kinda thought it was a joke myself because dude is slayin it.
guess he looked that easier than going to the gym
Everything is easy with PRACTICE!
At the beginning i thought it was at 2x speed.
Then I cheked settings.

Great character, a real great player in today's world, a true star.

the keyboard is red. the shirt is red. the picture frame is red. the cable is red.
he lives in a little red house with his red girlfriend

He has put in the work.
TSTBand gifts almost don’t exist. Talent is called work
Ahí me tienes desempolvando mi teclado Casio pensando que iba a ver un ejercicio para calentar. Ya mejor lo tiré... :(
Jajajajajajaja te comprendo hermano
The rhythm is so much fun - you get the triplet / tuplet feel perfect. Your 4th finger control is awesome at 1:01!
The photo right top is what he looks like today. From obese to movie star in a few short months. Doesn't even look anything like the original guy. Good for him and his image. He's always been an excellent pianist, fat or thin.
yeah but how
Just beautiful. So young and so talented. I am 72 and so jealous. Wishing you a wonderful musical life.
I miss Jesus with a little meat on his bones haha good for him for losing the weight but i still miss the not so pretty version of Molina
His expressions made me laugh out loud. Very funny man. 10/10.
Love how you brought in Cakewalk at 0:40!
Last I heard a tune like this was in Tom and Jerry, I didn't know humans could play like this too 🥵🥵🔥

Jesus Molina - Oscar Peterson reincarnated 👍 The best of the best!
I can't believe that this video is only 70 seconds long. He somehow managed to put 5 minutes of music in there!
Ok, I'll try this exercise when I get home 😀

“little” jazz exercise lmao 🔥
@Jesús Molina Music
G'day from Sydney. Naturally in lockdown, everyone has been practising this for two months, and have now mastered it.
¡Qué tecnica! ¿Cómo es posible tocar así?)))

Quick, give this man all of the pianos in the world. Truly a king.
I always always see him play fast...let me hear something slow and soulful. 😋.... By the way very impressive "clean fast" piano playing. ... unreal
This is like speaking an entirely different language at full conversations. You can't just jump out playing this. Wow!
Reminds of tom and jerry cartoon
Fantastic uncle. It is really sensational to see how you work both hands.
Jesus Molina should work for looney tunes
You are so talented! do you have a sheet music for this one?
you should find it easily online. This piece is called "a little jazz exercise" by oscar peterson. Just google it.
This is "A Little Jazz Exercise + Quote Melody of Peterson's Cakewalk. :)

He has the music completely ingrained into his spirit, doesn’t need to look at the keyboard. This man is a true life force.
