I've been going through all my stuff the past few months, and I got rid of A LOT of things I bought during sale seasons the past few years (Black Fridays and end of retail fiscal year sales in January). My new strategy going forward would be to declutter before the holidays. It made me realize how much I have and what I actually need to buy, and not buying the same things I never bothered to use. It also made me appreciate what I have because quality control has gone down for many things over the years.
Hi @sleepingpetal - I LOVE this strategy!! What a fantastic way to acknowledge that “I have MORE than enough” in a way that makes it easy to not buy more! Thanks for watching and sharing! -k
Oof - money is 80% emotion, 20% logic - don't let your emotions run your wallet this December! What emotional spending tends to get you each year? I fall prey to the DEALS! (she says while wearing her new Bombas socks she got on Black Friday ☺)
