I swear Beethoven wrote this piece as a way to mourn the fact he was losing his hearing. He did write Fur Elise to try and win over his lover's heart though.

Don't worry, you'll slowly get used to the pain after a prolonged period of time, likely stretching years but in my experience not exceeding 4. But it'll hurt a lot now, and will likely get worse. Just remember to keep going. It'll get better, but first it'll get worst.
