I understand these people whom might seem unreasonable to interrupt, but for normal civilian to take so much effort and courage to risk being hear. But I find it strange to hear the Jewish State of Israel, which I believe has a right to exist, being called a democracy! I know it's probably an Ethnocracy for the Jews, which does not bother me much, because they have a right to choose what type of governance they want over themselves but while there are non Jews living inside Israel, without equal rights across the board, it can not in all senses be a democracy! Even if the non Jews who live in Israel had full rights, the Ethnicity in the name of the county would still make it an Ethnocracy! I am also aware of the fact that most Arab and Persian countries are not democracies and they do not pretend to be: most of their names spell it out, Kingdom of this or that or Islamic Republic of this or that: they are clearly Theocracies and Monarchies: whom the US sells weapons to happily...
So the US does not care what governance is applied in a land, so long as the money is green, all is well! So i would appreciate it if we are not lectured on a middle eastern democracy while the US is in business with non democratic states alike all over the world...

@@Matthew_Loutner Greetings Sir. You have misunderstood me completely but it's probably my fault, my style of writing is not well refined. But let me clarify. Palestinian Arabs who live inside Israel do not have the same full rights as Jews inside and outside Israel. Let me make some examples:
1. Arabic, which is spoken by 20% of Israeli Arabs, and many Mizrahi Jews who originally immigrated from Arab countries to Israel, has been scrapped as an official language. Some members of local governments are Arab Israelis, their language has been relegated to street slang. Imagine French being scrapped as an official language in Canada.
2. The mere fact that a state calls itself by an ethnicity or theological name, like a Jewish State, cannot be democratic if 1.2million of 6 million citizens are either Arab Muslims or Arab Christians
3. The 1950 Law of return only applies to Jews, not Muslims or Christians.

4. Right to acquire land; only Jews may acquire land in Israel; Arabs (Both Christian and Muslim) are blocked by an entity named (Jewish National Fund), which owns almost all the property in Israel, it's not government but private, provides the state with a cover to say "it's not us who deny you property, it's that JNF entity.
5. Residency rights of jews in Jerusalem are permanent, but those of Arab residents are "revocable" and can render an Arab stateless for no reason
6. National holidays: only Jewish holidays appear on the calendar: none Christian or Muslim
With more time, any high school student doing a project on this can find 10more reasons to prove that Israel has no business using the moniker Democracy to Denote itself.
My point is: they are smoke screening everybody in the west, while they continue to practice a jewish theocracy no different from the Iranian theocracy or Saudi theocracy. After all, they are all Abraham's descendants, through Isaac and Ishmael, who was from historical Iraq, no one will falter them if they come out and call themselves what they really are: a Jewish Theocratic State of Israel

It assumes that people can propose different political parties and candidates (not one-party China).
It has nothing to do with language rights or property rights.
Democracy assumes that marginalized citizens will have a VOICE and a VOTE and use it to better their condition over time.
Originally the United States did not allow women or African Americans to vote. But the democratic process allowed them to speak publically and get the system to be more accepting that all citizens have equal rights.
The United States was once young and did not have equal rights for all. But it was still considered a democracy.
Democracy is not a static end result -- democracy is an evolving process.
If every citizen in Israel has an equal vote, Israel is a democracy. Any citizen who feels marginalized can use the democratic process to improve the laws and ways.
