- An 11 mile ride on the east end of the Willapa Hills Trial.
The Willapa Hills State Park Trail runs east to west from Chehalis, Washington State, USA to the river town of South Bend near the ocean. The 22 miles between Chehalis and Pe Ell and the first five miles from South Bend to Raymond are fully developed for hiking, cycling and equestrian use.
Beginning in urban Chehalis, the paved trail heads west through the farmlands of Adna. Restored bridges take travelers over rivers and streams before the trail enters the cool, forested Willapa Hills. Tired hikers and horses will find a welcome camp spot at Rainbow Falls State Park, 17 miles and a world away from I-5. - Хобби
Very cool! Glad to see some unicycle touring videos. Thanks very much for posting this.
Nice vid! I am the hiking director for the Boy Scouts 50 miler that we do every couple years on the Willapa Trail; from Raymond to Chehalis! I've been across that bridge several times... it brings back memories. Thanks for the comments on my channel... returning the favor. Also subbed. :-)
Hey Jim, are those tires 26”? They look big! Great video! 😃👍
All those have 36" wheels. 36" is the largest pneumatic tired unicycle they make and they are quite popular for touring.
Newbee unicycle rider here , are there any groups around Tacoma . not ready for a 11 mile ride yet but hope to be soon ,
I don't know of any groups there but you may want to post on unicyclist.com or one of the facebook sites.
thanks Jim Thode
