as a person interested in languages and also music (and kpop obviously) this was very informative about the titles origin! thanks for explaining the meaning!!
I’m italian and the word “tempo” can mean two things, one is time like you said, but we also use it to say today’s weather, like “Oggi c’è un bel tempo” means “Today’s good weather”, i never heard the word “Lotto” being used as “Lot”, but maybe that’s just me, “Solo” can mean many things, in this case i think it means “Alone” right, but if you put that word in a particular phrase,it can change its meaning
No wait, the first meaning of lotto is wrong, while the third is written as l'otto (Italian) and l'otto is l' is the and otto is 8. also mamma mia is not THAT used in Italy and we use it more when we are tired like "mamma mia che pesantezza", which is translatable as "gosh, why are you so lame?!"
Actually, a few of these aren't 'Italian' words because they are just the English version of some Italian words. Ex: Solo. Solo is an English word but it was derived from an Italian word. Even tho we got the word from Italy or something, it has been modified and made into a different word with the same meaning. So you can't say it is an Italian word. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't trying to prove you wrong or something like that. I just wanted to say that maybe without the right information, you might have gone wrong. I researched this topic and found out.
Mmh .. solo is in fact an Italian word that means alone (in some cases). It was also used in Italy to mean a solo singer. I don't think it's derivative, I think in English they took this word only in the musical sense. But it does not mean that it is not an Italian word, because one of the meanings of "solo" in Italian is also this one. Thank you for your opinion ^^
I'm italian and I love the fact that a lot of songs have italian words❤ it makes me feel closer to kpop❤

Some of these are shared with other Latin languages, like Fantasia and Tempo. BTW, I'm Portuguese
Yes! In fact, many of these are not only Italian.
yes but these terms are taken from music given by us Italians therefore they are specific Italian terms in music.
Just a quick disclaimer nobody in italy uses Lotto as a way to say a lot, moreso lotto means more like "to fight" rather than what you researched
You deserve more subs
