SpaceX reduced the hardware cost for the Starlink kit from $600 to $300 about a month or two ago. People who were selling it for ¢12k months ago bought it at $600 unit cost.

I think the local ISPs can partner with them and give us affordable one if not there will be still connectivity gap .
💯 they're doing it with some ISPs abroad and it would be definitely good them to do same with local ISPs in Africa

When I activate, can I paying in cedis?
So If you it directly from starlink, it's configured based on the location you bought it from, in your case it's Nigerian. The account use in purchasing would most likely be a Nigerian account. If you're to use it in Ghana, you'd most likely have to be on the roaming plan or request for a change in location to Ghana before you can start paying in Cedis
Please wait till starlink ship thier equipment in bulk to sell it cheaper in their retail outlets in Ghana.
Ghana hard save some money,no need to ship from abroad.
What is the monthly price comparison to other internet service providers in Ghana?
For unlimited usage as it is, it’s cheaper than all the local internet services providers plus most of them have a cap on data allocation, for telecel it’s about Gh¢1035 per month for unlimited (capped at 1TB)
But if you’re not somebody who uses a lot of data, there are cheap options available within the other ISPs in Ghana

I am also out of the country and had an email to purchase within 7 days or have my deposit of $100 cancelled and refunded. I have since paid the difference with my Momo which I have access to outside the country. My deposit was made in early 2021 in the early days of Starlink when it was £100 per deposit. I am waiting to have my family receive it on my behalf.
You can have some in ghana pay via mobile money. Just input their number in place and they’ll make the payment
