I dont think any actual extraction shooter is going to be like DMZ, Activision should make a brand new DMZ separate from warzone, and i wouldn't mind paying for it
You may be right, but playing a game that gets updated and that is not abandoned filled with cheaters, glitchers and exploiters seems better to me. DMZ won't last in its current state.
@@ElClaptainagreed. Unfortunately we’ll have to move on, Activision will have to see those numbers drop off and then make a decision. I for one will not be playing COD without DMZ after it’s gone
I’ve said it before…I would pay for dmz. I already have buying bundles, but if it was a maintained game mode, I would be happy to pay for it. Something about it, it works and I throughly enjoy it
As a DMZ Player from day 1, I'm really looking forward to Delta Force. One thing I can assure you is the connection between Delta Force and Call of Duty. If you haven't watched the recent interview of Raven Software employee, basically a lot of modern day CoD ideas, including Warzone BR and DMZ, are originally from the development of Call of Duty Online. Call of Duty Online was a CoD developed exclusively for China on PC because gaming consoles are prohibited in China back in 2013. The game was developed by Activision and run by Tencent until 2021. Activision basically used it as a test field to create new content for future CoD. And believe me, Tencent is a company that is exceptionally good at learning. So you can expect to see a lot of CoD element integrated into Delta Force, but better. If you don't believe me, go check CoD Mobile and BO3. Remember the goofy pose that your character makes at the end of a BO3 match? We had that in CODOL back in 2013 already.
100%. There's been countless times an exfil chopper has turned into it's own 'mini-map', where positioning, pressure etc. and the clock counting down results in some of the best gaming moments in the entire mode. Final exfil fights can be amazingly fun.
@@Jojomomo236666 yep, there needs to be some “wait time” for the exfil and ability for multiple teams to use the same method of exfil. It adds an insane dynamic to extracting
People will have reservations sure but honestly the fact it’s FREE and we’ve got this! Honestly just pick it up and give it a go because this could be some high quality stuff
Loving what I'm seeing. My biggest hope for change is the movement to be a little faster (like DMZ) and more effective mantling. It does seem a little sluggish
all these people complaining about how they wish it was simpler and more like COD, DMZ was not a real extraction shooter, this is a casual EXTRACTION mode, not a DMZ knock off.
Only being able to be revived from full death once will forced players to make the hard choices between pushing PvP or not. Sweats won’t like that and mission focused player probably will
There just aren’t any games that have the movement style of COD, this game looks like Ghost Recon style movement and bit more strategic… which I like but just want game movement flow feel fluid vs boxy is only way I can describe other game have 😂
I'm liking everything I'm seeing from this game. The main thing that makes me a little worried is the timer on being revived/only being able to be revived once.
I mean it's good, its a great balance between realism, arcade style and some futuristic abilities. But later on they will add more characters abilities to keep the game going, and thats what i worry. Because its an extraction shooter and all the abilities make it bit more cluttering. But let's see if they can balance the things.
As a DMZ player, I am excited for this. The loot aspect and risk vs reward loot element is what DMZ was missing and economy system. Had they implemented that stuff, DMZ would still be alive and kicking and killing it. Since DMZ was in a "beta" state throughout its lifespan, I do wonder if they're working on it in the background again. Very much looking forward to DF. As for the movement, I 100% agree with the Tarkov movement being super clunky. I don't get how people who play it don't agree or don't see it. It's very clunky all around. Tarkov is fun but people can't deny the fact that it's movement is incredibly clunky. Also, Tarkovs devs move at a snails pace for anything. I certainly hope these guys have some content lined up for this.
This looks great, it would be nice to have DMZ-style extraction where you get some type of adrenaline rush just to leave the map. Calling extraction chopper means more surrounding bots to fight and if unlucky, more players to fight. I know this can be stressful sometimes, getting clapped after a good raid and losing all your loot but it would be nice to have that here as well The second would be to enable the option to get revived infinitely as long as we have a squad member standing. Imagine me playing with friends and I was forced out of the game because I was out the second time, that would mean my friend quitting so that we can re-queue into another match
Game looks interesting. Not excited about the movement though. Seems really choppy compared to DMZ. Certainly not looking for slide canceling and all that jazz... but it seems, like you said... slow. Don't like the amount of time spent in the backpack/inventory either. Hope they speed it up and make it more reactive. DMZ, without the cheaters, glitches (features? ) and stupid one shot shotguns and RGL... is almost perfect. They were really close with it to being perfect. Stupid to let it drop and have a hard time accepting that the player base isnt big enough to keep it going! I'd drop 100$ easy to have a new game.
There will be another DMZ look at what they did with zombies and outbreak then after two years they brought it back that was a lot better.(it could be better but every game and game mode could be better)2025-26 will be the year it’ll be a bit different but I know they are bringing it back. We will all be impressed….. hopefully
If any hope of success then the loot, weapons and backpack system and healing system need to be very close like the current DMZ to win over DMZ players
@@ElClaptain hope so, but i do understand it affects on everything. like the healing and looting needs then also be faster, otherwise faster movement player will just push you down, like in dmz putting plates is faster giving you somekind of chance to regain health in fights.
@@ElClaptainAgreed on the movement. The addition of adding pieces to your weapons is what i was mostly referring to. Hopefully you can start with your own weapons. But we will see.
I think that the DMZ community's interest in delta force is generated exclusively by the abandonment of actvision, because delta force may be interesting, but it is very far from the DMZ format, I don't think I will like delta force more than any another game that I'm only interested in for a week, then I'll go back to the DMZ, like it was in greyzone.
15 minutes of gameplay and didn’t see much action, one of the main draws to DMZ, mazzy especially is how alive the map feels. This seems all a bit, empty. I know it’s pre alpha and things can change but I don’t feel as sold as I hoped I would
Instant looting, automatic item stacking, and assimilation/proximity chat seem to be very necessary additions. Also, a color coding system (orange, purple, blue, white) to easily see the rarity of loot and gear would be helpful. Put in an easy ping system like CoD or Apex. The exfils are a little too simple, too. There should be an actual helo to get onboard with its own animation to create some more tension. It looks interesting and can still improve.
I don't want another arcade feeling game...we have enough all ready, please be a bit more hardcore and a wee bit more realistic feel..not too much just enough to feel like we've accomplished something in the end game
I just got into cod again with 3. Dmz isn't even fun. I get swarmed by squads after my first gun fight or at exfil. I can't even get my character off the ground to do anything.
Boring no excitement like DMZ, the exfill is lame and uneventful, just an uneventful way of escaping, no chopper to get out on with timer and having to fight your way out, and no vehicles, boring no large map like Al Maz, I ll give this a try but I can see I ll me back to DMZ! for as long as it last!
If y’all want COD, stick to COD! Stop trying to make the BS COD. This could finally be a game that combines COD and battlefield. “I wish it was faster” that’s what ruined COD, that’s why the franchise went down hill. The sliding the jumping, everyone but children got tired of that. You want arcade stay with COD, the rest of us want a new game and feel
This game looks pretty boring to be honest, the maps seem pretty empty of enemies, and the extraction was lame as hell. The movement also looks bad. its definitely not gunna match the intensity of dmz.

I hope they do make a separate DMZ game and I hope we have to pay for it because paying for it will help deter cheaters
DMZ is definitely one of the best games ever released. It's 100x better than garbo warzone

Well it has plenty of time to pass it up 😂. Activision doesnt add anything to dmz anymore.

There will be proximity chat with enemy squad like DMZ ?
Not sure how i feel about the loot screen how it blocks out everything. Nice to be able to see whats going on around you while looting.
