Fantastic game - definitely a top 10 for me! It has one of the best solo modes in any euro-type game. The only negative is the storage solution for that the game comes with is terrible - the bags make it so hard to set up and tear down. I found and bought a storage solution that makes it so much easier to set up which helped bring it to my table more frequently. One of the best features is a free online solo campaign. It is right on the CGE website and it is four missions and it is a very clever twist. Points are not so much the objective as completing quests and it does have some interaction with the computer app. I always encourage players to check it out - and it's FREE! In our hobby, free is not a word often used!!! Thanks Dale and maybe we will see the expansion unboxing and play through in the future?
God vid. Fun fact: In french it's called Narak... Was a bit confused when i searched for it. They renamed the game because Arnak sounds like Arnaque which means Scam 😂
Devil in my ear! I’ve successfully had Arnak on my “wait for a nifty deal or an interesting finagle” list for some time but you had to upset the balance and remind me I really want to get my hands on this game. I must say something bad about Arnak lest I succumb. Ah, yes. The map is so large you can land a small Cessna on it in a pinch.
Most CGE games come with just the baggies for compoments, pretty frustrating when u have to buy game inserts but the game is great dont let it discourage you from buying it.
My copy came in with the scorepad bent, and half the pad separated from the other half, and the reference cards had bent corners. I looked up an unboxing video to figure out if my copy was a counterfeit, and I'm very disappointed to see that this is just how it is. Even FFG games from 15 years ago shipped with cardboard packing materials so nothing moved around during shipping. (And everyone rightly roasted FFG for the "cardboard ditch" then too!)
It was in my wish list and give it up and chose Dune: Imperium because I am afraid my table cannot fit this one. Good to see it here. By the way, thanks for your videos of LoTR and Marvel Champion. Like LoTR a lot due to it feels like hardcore TCG I played a lot. However, I think my friends will like more about Marvel. Seriously, still prefer LoTR's hardcore and difficulty, but Marvel is a better choice. Purchased Marvel Champion already. Thanks for the information shared.
Glad you are enjoying both LCGs, and I agree, LOTR is a tougher game ... but I do see the difficulty increasing in Champions as it goes on. :) And I feel your pain on table space, I have that same problem.
@@DaletheCasualGamer LOTR feels more like TCG I played and more interesting in fact. However, market demanding easier games. Well, the good thing for tougher game is later you will play easily. Well, people like easier start. My first boardgame after TCG is Mage Knight. Mage Knight is more interesting after you study it well and learned how to pilot the cards. TCG is the same. It's hard to learn. However, the learning curve will dramatically decrease if you have patience stick on it until you grab all ruling and mechanics. And could get very crazy win streak and above 80% win rate (BO3 win rate). Well, my issue for games like TCG or hardcore LCG is popularity at least in my region. Marvel suits the market I think. Like people prefer LOL than DOTA.
Tons of amazing art assets... Hpoing for a gameplay video... Thanks for the video!
@Oreste Gamba I'll have a solo playthrough coming up tomorrow! :)
Has been a great game, love the combination of mechanics, solo play is really fun too!
@Trent Dougan A solid game for sure! :)
Love this game! Great fun
Glad you enjoy it! :)

@Bryan Scollick Great endorsement saying it's in your top 10! And thanks for sharing about the free online solo campaign!! :)
Great game, hope you like it!
@Willem I think the hype for the game was worth it. Very solid game with tons of options! :)

Haha! Thanks for the "Fun Fact"! :)

I'm glad to take you over the edge. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer I’ve been over the edge so often I have a regularly scheduled pinochle game with the demons in the way down.
Wow. I don't think I've ever seen a game where the publisher made zero effort to create any kind of storage solution. Sad.
