I love how Zoro is one of the few anime characters who's power comes from nothing but hard work and experience. Talent and natural god given abilities only take you so far. But Zoro being as determined as he is to reach those ranks led him to work his hardest and get him there. It's very inspiring.

Zoro is the right hand man of the future pirate king, so he is obviously not one to be messed with, just like Silver Rayleigh, but again, Luffy is the future king of the pirates. This is an easy train of thought come on.
