    Im just impressed by the patience from all of the people waiting for the light to change, I swear New York would look like the 2nd half of the video while the lights say don't cross

      Definitely like that in the U.K. too - In London people don’t care if there’s multiple busses coming their way. If they want to cross, the large red bus full of people can wait lol

      Even if there's an ambulance, police, or firetruck with sirens on, I'd still look like that second half, while there's twerking on the ambulance/police because it's just a typical Tuesday

      @ዘ-ሚካኤል It’s not that “driving isn’t that deeded” it’d be merely impossible if they all chose to do that. The population is *enormous* especially in kanto region, so the traffic would become un-movable.

    I'm from Tampa, Florida, in the USA, and I love the Shibuya area. I've been there a few times. Shibuya crossing is beautiful and amazing, especially at night.

      @@daveduncan9034 Yes, it's definitely worth it. Also make sure to visit Shinjuku and Ginza, both are areas of Tokyo. Also Tokyo Station has awesome underground shopping malls.

      They respect their people more than here in Canada/Québec. In Japan It was declared anti-constitutionnal the confinement .
      And They respect their elderly people ...So pandemic?
      They closed the borders . Here in Canada We let anybody enter :(
      I hope I will be able to go in 2025 in Osaka for the international exposition about Life in the future .

      because believe it or not, people enjoy being part of the streets. Pedestrian overpass to me is not only ugly but also distances pedestrians from the sense of being part of the streets. Peds overpass would allow for a higher level of service for these streets, but then the city would then become car-centric like most North American cities. Look at the most livable cities, they all have great active transportation facilities and people love living there because it is actually faster to walk or ride a bike than to drive (and it feels way better too)!

      What you don't see is there is a crossing underground as well that is nearly as busy. It is insane how many people cross there.
