    They have the splits right 😀 This offense is basically, "If the defense says.."Hey..we're going to dare them to run inside zone for 250 yards." Do it. Or if they commit numbers, there's too much space to give your corners a lot of help. The thing about teams that run this well, is that they all have burners on the outside who can make the defender pay for any false step or misalignment. It's really hard to bracket people without leaving just massive chunks of grass, or a 5 man box. Tennessee averaged 5.5 YPC last season. The only way you slow this offense down, is if you have just monsters on your front 4 and are good enough in the secondary to force them into 50-50 balls all game. That's what Alabama and Georgia do to them. They play lots of quarters coverage and bank on the fact that you can't keep hitting choice route fades and posts.

      Yeah you have to have speed and the qb who can make the throws. Thats what high school coaches who want to run this offense don’t understand.

      If so, tell them schmucks over at EA that fans want to edit dynasty rosters and use custom and alternate playbooks in H2H online. Or at least offer an alternate H2H mode where you can use them, ideally one where you can export your dynasty team to compete online.

    Another tip for you guys. If you sprint right away when you run the ball, the O line will shed the tackle faster. Wait for the gap and then sprint.

    Excellent video. I am using Miami and I am switching to the Veer and Shoot. It is very hard to make QB reads in this game even with a good QB like Cam Ward. The defense can close down routes that look open very quickly. You basically have 2 seconds to get rid of the ball. The defense is so good that is hard to spam routes. You literally have to run a system where you master all the different options ahead of time so you will know what to do. This video is literally a master class on CFB 25. Running between the tackles every play doesn't even work because eventually that gets shut down.

One thing I might suggest is because a lot of the plays in the video focus on inside zone and similar blocking schemes might I suggest manually identifying the mike with LB+A pre-snap. I’ve found this makes the blocking schemes lineup on the defensive players correctly. You end up with a lot fewer blown up plays and more directionally correct blocks instead of a guard trying to reach on a tackle and getting blown up.

    Love the video! I’ve been learning this playbook all week and it’s so much fun. My only real question is what to do in red zone situations? Press man is usually easily beat with go routes but in the short field there’s not enough space to let the receiver get a step.

      If you can hurry up and just run a normal inside zone or that’s when you can really hurt them with the zone read. IF you can read it right.

    I like doing wide trips with bubble screen rpo.. REALLY put defense in bind.. how many do you have to trips side? Two with two blockers? Easy money.. You man u with 3 on 3 and you have a 5-6 man box with 7 guys with counting QB.. LOVE IT.. Of course Coach Mac is on same wave.. I wonder what teams have some of Dolphins plays tho, I wanna incorporate that in my custom playbook also.. Wish they woulda threw some in Lane's PB as he copied the cheat motion last year..

    I’m wondering am I missing something? I’m creating my playbook and can’t find some of these formations. For example Gun wide slot right. I have wide slot LEFT which doesn’t have the play you describe here so I’m a little stumped.
    Edit: I found a bug. In this video the formations are named correctly. But sometime after that! These plays were edits and now there are two entries both labeled “Slot Right” one of them is regular and the other is the wide variant. I can tell by the play art on the right.

    My only issue with this offense in the game is that CBs seem to jump underneath routes like they have premonitions preplay. I don't think it's a glitch just that the DB cpu programming/response is based on normal WR splits so when the ball has to travel that much further with the wide splits they get that extra time the balls in the air to make a play.

    • @coachronmckie
      @coachronmckie  2 месяца назад

      Yeah that's a pain in the butt. I've found that clicking onto a receiver like you are going to put them in motion then snapping the ball (don't put the guy in motion) will give you a better camera angle.
