Erwin, many people want your presentations to become big and shiny with a fancy budget and a cable series.. If that happens it will break my heart, and I hope you can be well supported but without hype or mainstreaming. Thank you for being Erwin and Tom amongst the woods, rocks, rivers and elusive fairy folk.
If it went commercialised like that it would get really fake -- idk how much Erwin would be able to prevent it-- everything would be computer effects and faked instead of the naturally occurring situations seen now. If you know what I mean.
Erwin stated that they wanted to use their own camera man rather than Tom. I don’t think Erwin would ever throw Tom under the bus, do you? I hope not. They’ve got us! They don’t need big tech companies, as you say, it would lose some of its magic. 👍🏼

I personally think it would be cool for him to have a series,but honestly I would rather watch these videos..if Erwin had a TV series they'd be following him around and he'd never see any of those wondrous creatures..likely they don't like humans,and especially alot of them running around messing up their woods..so while a series sounds cool,I'd rather have Erwin come out with books..one could be a field guide of sorts,and then another one could be a collection of all of those wonderful drawings,and that would help fund his research instead of a series

Other cryptid hunters are just so intense and high-strung. It's so nice to see someone who approaches cryptids the way you should approach any unknown animal, calmly and with patience.

Yeah,that's probably why all these fools out trying to find Sasquatch are failing to produce anything meaningful because they are approaching it the wrong way..they go out into the woods and tromp around and give off this "bad mojo" or high-strung energy as you put it Mimsy Sherry(BTW,I like that name,The Last Mimsy was one of my favorite movies) and they expect to get results..well,they don't..I like the way Erwin approaches these beings,calmly and patiently..if these other cryptid hunters would have Erwin's approach,maybe they would actually get results

@@sunshinemishasmommy5352 To be fair I think most Sasquatch hunters are a lot like the deer hunters and ice fishermen I knew growing up in Michigan. It was more about drinking and relaxing with friends than actually bagging anything.
Yes, well other cryptic hunters aren't faking their creatures... he's not stressed because these one's aren't real.
I never feel as relaxed as I do when watching Erwin. I suffer with anxiety and depression but Erwin's calm and gentle enthusiasm takes me to a safe place. Sounds a little exagerated I know but he works for me. Please don't change Erwin.

Similar for me too, Erwin is becoming the comfort which soothes me through anxiety, depression, pain and sickness like artist Bob Ross always has.

I'm not at all gutted it's not real. We all know this anyway but we're all willingly buying into this magical fantasy world Erwin has created for us. The world sorely needs more Erwin and Toms. The editing skills displayed here, and the CGI, are top notch and a pleasure to just sit back and watch.

What a wonderful location Erwin and Tom are exploring! Even without the success you had hoped for it was extremely enjoyable as a spectator to watch you both scuttling around. The stream was particularly pleasant.
That flying frog creature was wonderful! I screenshot it & zoomed in...big head w/frog-like throat, has apricot-orange wings in flight & a long swooping tail like cartoon dragons. Thank You for the gorgeous countryside adventure & for both of your gentle natures! ♡♡♡

Takes me back to childhood, my father was one for tales of the wee folk and when we went out walking, for sure he had done the walk at dawn to lay things out for us to 'come across'as we were out by 08:00 :-D

He talked about being approached by tv people and what they wanted to do to make it ce a bigger production and he said he didn’t want that. It’d the series is just him and Tom with funding then he’d be fine with it but she’s like on discovery or Netflix require a big team on site and it would break the magic

LOVE LOVE LOVE every bit of this. please never stop. You have a special space in my heart. earlier this year my boyfriend suddenly got sick and died. a week later my dad accidently ran over my dog and she died. So a couple of really sad months and my best friend and I found Erwin & Tom's channel and i remember smiling and laughing out loud for the first time in months. In about a week after that my best friend fell asleep at the wheel and drove off a cliff, and died. But even through these hard times i'll never lose that feeling of lighthearted laughter while watching your videos. I know my best friend felt the same way. Its impossible to watch your videos and stay in a bad mood. So thank you kindly! from Ojai :)

Great video Erwin! I find them magical reminds we of when I was a child. When I was five I swear I saw a fairy in a pecan tree in the middle of my uncle's wheat field in Kansas. As a country girl I knew how birds fly and butterflies fly and it wasn't doing that it acted a bit like a hummingbird the body wasn't right it had arms and legs. I wish I knew what I saw.

Erwin never fails to take me back to being a child again, endlessly fascinated with his stories and open to believing anything and it's the best thing. Really brings me back to those tales of goblins, imps and fairies from my childhood. Also love the setting of this video being very similar to that of my homeland : )

Erwin, you were ruminating about a book and talking a bit about the creatures you draw. During the worst of the winter, I'd be happy just having a cup of tea with you and talking about whatever it is you'd like to share about lore, your experiences, your vision for the channel. Kind of a fireside chat. Thank you for showing me Wales, I've always wanted to go, it's beautiful. The frog was wicked fast, couldn't really see him even in freeze frame but thank you for showing us.
This whole buildup has been so amazing, can't wait to see where it goes! If you ever get to make this into a series, go with whomever provides a script/story/premise/conditions you feel comfortable with. Only you (and Tom, presumably) know where this series can go, either on youtube or larger budget. You know how to pull in an audience slowly but steadily, and though nowadays the entertainment industry wants big and bombastic, just go with whatever feels right for you. Don't let producers tell you differently, keep doing this at your own pace!
Boy you can always tell when Tom is behind the camera the filler shots are awesome. If you eat said product and tell the world how you enjoy them if you do . Then they might give you an endorsement. There was a man riding a skateboard drinking a Cranberry Juice he simply takes a gulp when enjoying his ride and that company showered him with gifts.
Great as always, Erwin's on top form again with Tom bringing his own unique observations of the situation, and great camera shots of the awesome scenery, don't mind not seeing anything when we've got Erwin around, with Tom running back and forth towards the end across the camera it doesn't get much better than that,thank you again gentleman.
Thank you both for being the story tellers you are and especially Erwin .You show of the beautiful hidden gems of our landscapes and show how special all the old folklore was and of course still is to our country side..It goes back through time and memorial and is passed down by moth over many years.. .Erwin Gallantly goes forth and shows the amazing creatures of folklore who have had to hide in these less travelled ,almost secret places and have successfully blended into the environment…Thank you for bringing it back Erwin..Love n Light 🥰

I just spotted an old video from this channel today. Watched that video (first pixie sighting or the like I think it was the second oldest video) then continued to watch the entire history of these videos. Now I'm up to speed and intend to be an avid viewer. Fantastically different channel, great humor, great take on folklore and just love the brave sometimes timid and clumsy characters. The creatures are awesome and Erwin you just have to love. Just good old wholesome fun with a whole new different take of it. Wow, there are no words nor can I put a finger on what makes this absolutely beautiful work. Even with all I said I love about it, still just does not quite describe the magic herein. This man has an indescribable gift.

I just found this channel. I love his vocabulary and assembly of words. The creatures are pretty neat too. Hard for my eyes to focus in on the little guys. The scenery is Beautiful.

Erwin is a lovely old gentleman who lives not far from me...He's NO FRAUD! Erwin can often be seen trotting off to Blue Bell Woods with his backpack & camo hat on his head! Many people around my way,here in Wales have often been to Blue Bell Woods to visit the Pixies,Gnomes & Goblins! Their REAL & the kids LOVE his shows!
Edwin should have a show of his OWN! Meantime just remember NOT to stomp around & frighten the little folk away!If you look for Pixies..You'll find them!
